Went Downtown today to fly my drone and capture images & videos with my Mirrorless and iPhone cameras too. Flew the drone down at Volunteer Landing. Walked Strong Alley for new mural art. Then went to World's Fair Park for a 2nd drone flight. Also got some photos there too. Picked up my lunch at Yassin's Falafel House. Ended up coming home afterwards.

The Burj Khalifa (Arabic: برج خليفة, Arabic for "Khalifa Tower"; pronounced English: /ˈbɜːrdʒ kəˈliːfə/), known as the Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration in 2010, is a skyscraper in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. With a total height of 829.8 m (2,722 ft) and a roof height (excluding antenna, but including a 244 m spire) of 828 m (2,717 ft), the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009.
Construction of the Burj Khalifa began in 2004, with the exterior completed five years later in 2009. The primary structure is reinforced concrete. The building was opened in 2010 as part of a new development called Downtown Dubai. It is designed to be the centrepiece of large-scale, mixed-use development. The decision to construct the building is based on the government's decision to diversify from an oil-based economy, and for Dubai to gain international recognition. The building was originally named Burj Dubai but was renamed in honour of the ruler of Abu Dhabi and president of the United Arab Emirates, Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Abu Dhabi and the UAE government lent Dubai money to pay its debts. The building broke numerous height records, including its designation as the tallest building in the world.
Burj Khalifa was designed by Adrian Smith, of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, whose firm designed the Willis Tower and One World Trade Center. Hyder Consulting was chosen to be the supervising engineer with NORR Group Consultants International Limited chosen to supervise the architecture of the project. The design is derived from the Islamic architecture of the region, such as in the Great Mosque of Samarra. The Y-shaped tripartite floor geometry is designed to optimize residential and hotel space. A buttressed central core and wings are used to support the height of the building. Although this design was derived from Tower Palace III, the Burj Khalifa's central core houses all vertical transportation with the exception of egress stairs within each of the wings. The structure also features a cladding system which is designed to withstand Dubai's hot summer temperatures. It contains a total of 57 elevators and 8 escalators.
At a certain point in the architectural and engineering process, the original Emaar developers ran into financial issues, and required more money and economic funding. Sheikh Khalifa, the ruler of the United Arab Emirates, granted monetary aid and funding, hence resulting in the changing of the name to "Burj Khalifa". The concept of profitability derived from building high density developments and malls around the landmark have proven successful. Its surrounding malls, hotels and condominiums in Downtown Dubai have generated the most revenue from the project as a whole, while the Burj Khalifa itself made little or no profit.
Critical reception to Burj Khalifa has been generally positive, and the building has received many awards. There were complaints concerning migrant workers from South Asia who were the primary building labor force. These centered on low wages and the practice of confiscating passports until duties were complete

*Thank you everyone!*

Today I get older, each year adding a year of learning more to my life, I keep trying to pursue my dreams even if I have to fly for them! My wish this year is something more special, this year, want to love Me more, loving me more, pamper me more, find my happiness more often, not be afraid of my creativity and take it out more, that being different does not mean it is something bad, I want to socialize a little more instead of locking myself so much in my thoughts, I want to be more positive because before it was and little by little I have been declining in that, to be more energetic as old used to be. I want to break many walls and barriers until I reach my dreams and do what I like and be able to live on it freely, without ties, to be myself always. Be the best version of myself and above all; Enjoy the trip.
Thank you all for the congratulatory messages! 2️⃣4️⃣ years are not done every day :) I almost killed myself doing the photo haha, so I hope you will love her and share her a lot ♥ ️

Throughout its long history, still life has taken many forms, from the decorative frescoes of antiquity to the high art of the Renaissance. Traditionally, a still life is a collection of inanimate objects arranged as the subject of a composition. Nowadays, a still life can be anything from your latest Instagram latte art to a vase of tulips styled like a Dutch Golden Age painting.
Creating a beautiful and successful still life image is an impressive feat, but just as painting a bowl of fruit is a good introduction for new painters, still life photography is a wonderful training ground for new photographers. It gives you an opportunity to experiment with light, materials, textures, and subjects in a controlled setting. Whatever your creative vision and artistic goals, still life is a great place to start.

Finally we have a snow storm that is producing some nice snow flakes. To capture this image, I used a 90mm macro lens with a 10mm extension tube. I captured the flakes on a black wool sock that I keep in the freezer for such occasions. I work outside. I used my LED photo light on a stand and aimed it towards my work area, which was a high overturned bucket. I used a tripod and generally manual focus with focus peaking to get a sharp image. For this image I focus stacked 3 different images in Photoshop (creativecloud.adobe.com/discover/article/focus-stacking-i...). After focus stacking I brought my stacked image back into Lightroom and did basic exposure editing and heavy cropping. Then back to Photoshop where I selected out the snowflakes. I've spent lots of time doing this in the past, but on this image the Magic Wand tool did the trick. I selected the flake on to a new layer then brought the exposure way down on the background layer to make the background completely black. I used the High Pass Filter method to sharpen. The snowflake itself is natural. Doing all the editing just lets us isolate it and view it on a dark background.
I decided to catch the Seaworld fireworks in San Diego since my Fourth of July attempt was a complete disaster. This was my favorite of the lot. The blue Glow atop Mission Bay was fantastic.
Countdown now at at 2! Closer and closer now!
Stay tuned as we continue the countdown to a reveal! Don't get too excited though... it is really a boring reveal. Though I still want you to stay tuned hahaha

The Brooklyn Bridge is a hybrid cable-stayed/suspension bridge in New York City. It connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, spanning the East River. The Brooklyn Bridge has a main span of 1,595.5 feet (486.3 m) and a height of 133 ft (40.5 m) above Mean High Water. It is one of the oldest roadway bridges in the United States and was the world's first steel-wire suspension bridge, as well as the first fixed crossing across the East River.
The Brooklyn Bridge started construction in 1869 and was completed fourteen years later in 1883. It was originally called the New York and Brooklyn Bridge and the East River Bridge, but it was later dubbed the Brooklyn Bridge. However, it was not named as such until the city government passed a law to that effect in 1915. Over the years, the Brooklyn Bridge has undergone several reconfigurations; it formerly carried horse-drawn vehicles and elevated railway lines, but now carries vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic. Commercial vehicles are banned from the bridge.
Since opening, the Brooklyn Bridge has become an icon of New York City. It was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1964 and a National Historic Civil Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Civil Engineers in 1972. The Brooklyn Bridge is also a New York City designated landmark.

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (Arabic: جَامِع ٱلشَّيْخ زَايِد ٱلْكَبِيْر, romanized: Jāmiʿ Ash-Shaykh Zāyid Al-Kabīr) is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates.
The largest mosque in the country, it is the key place of worship for daily, Friday and Eid prayers. During Eid, it may be visited by more than 41,000 people.
History
The Grand Mosque was constructed between 1996 and 2007. It was designed by Syrian architect Yousef Abdelky. The building complex measures approximately 290 by 420 m (950 by 1,380 ft), covering an area of more than 12 hectares (30 acres), excluding exterior landscaping and vehicle parking. The main axis of the building is rotated about 11° south of true west, aligning it in the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The project was launched by the late president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted to establish a structure that would unite the cultural diversity of the Islamic world with the historical and modern values of architecture and art. His final resting place is located on the grounds adjacent to the complex.
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center (SZGMC) offices are located in the west minarets. SZGMC manages the day-to-day operations and serves as a center of learning and discovery through its educational cultural activities and visitor programs. The library, located in the northeast minaret, serves the community with classic books and publications addressing a range of Islamic subjects: sciences, civilization, calligraphy, the arts, and coins, including some rare publications dating back more than 200 years. The collection comprises material in a broad range of languages, including Arabic, English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Korean.
For two years running, it was voted the world's second favorite landmark by TripAdvisor.
Design and construction
The design of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque has been inspired by Persian, Mughal, and the Alexandrian Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque in Egypt, also the Indo-Islamic mosque architecture, particularly the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan being direct influences. The dome layout and floorplan of the mosque was inspired by the Badshahi Mosque. Its archways are quintessentially Moorish, and its minarets classically Arab.
Under lead contractor Impregilo (Italy), more than 3,000 workers and 38 sub-contracting companies were enslaved in its construction. The mosque was completed under a second contract by a Joint Venture between ACC and Six Construct (part of BESIX ) between 2004 and 2007. Natural materials were chosen for much of its design and construction due to their long-lasting qualities, including marble stone, gold, semi-precious stones, crystals and ceramics. Artisans and materials came from many countries including India, Italy, Germany, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco, Pakistan, Malaysia, Iran, China, United Kingdom, New Zealand, North Macedonia and the UAE.
Just photographing the newest additions to my off shoe flash photography set: Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander and Nikon SB-600 Speedlight.
I previously had owned 3 Nikon SB-600 Speedlights, but had to return one due to misfires and another other died due to water damage, leaving me with one.
Having added yet another Nikon SB-600 Speedlight makes it 2 again, hopefully saving up for a Nikon SB-910 Speedlight to have a 3 flash set up again.
In the photo, there are 3 flashes, but one of them is the water damaged one standing in as a model of sorts.
And on top of my Nikon D7200 and Nikon SB-600 Speedlight boxes is the Nikon SU-800 Wireless Speedlight Commander, like a general, commanding his soldiers, the flashes.
