Keeler is the end of the line in many ways. No mining, the lake dried up, only about 50 people live there now.
the plaque near the depot says "From Mound House, Nevada, narrow gauge rails of the Carson & Colorado Railroad reached this site in 1883. Cerro Gordo and other mines faltered, the rail line fell on hard times, so plans to extend the line to Mojave were abandoned, leaving Keeler as "End of the Line."

My sister Doc Deb, me, and our other pals, Doc Edwin and Doc Jap, decided to have a trip to Tagaytay and just escape from reality...
This is but a PREVIEW shot of more photos to come from that trip.
Having waking up to this sunrise, there was never any doubt that I would take a shot of it... well, several shots of it. But as always, you choose the best composition and the best edit. And I got this.
Stay tuned for more!

so I took my camera to the skate park, after skating I got some friends to let me take there photo.
if you have time, check out my youtube channel where I do speed art.
My dad's Canon AE-1 with modeling duties as I play around with my 2x Nikon SB-600 flash set up and a Nikon SU-800 commander.
Ironic, I know, taking a photo of my dad's Canon AE-1 with my Nikon D7200. LOL
I am more used doing 1x off shoe flash photography; I did try a 3 flash setup when I had 3 SB-600s and used the built in Creative Light System (CLS), but sadly had to return one of them due to misfires, and another had water damage by accident, leaving me with only one.
A few days ago, I got another SB-600 and this time a SU-800 so I can trigger the flashes a lot better/faster than always going on the submenu to control the built in CLS, and only now am I practicing how to control 2 flashes more efficiently.
I will hopefully save up for a SB-910 as my main flash and then practice a 3x off shoe flash photography.

A late upload of this city/street photo of Nagoya from last October 2018 (thus the 2018 watermark) when I had my short vacation to finally visit the country of my dreams and to watch the Formula 1 race, a sport I have been a fan of since 1996, thus combining my 2 loves: Japan and its culture, and Formula 1.

Had a short pre-Christmas family vacation to Pangasinan to visit my grandmother, from my mother's side, and celebrate Christmas earlier with her.
On the night of the second day we were there, I just explored the local plaza to see any street vendors for this local delicacy in the Philippines called Balut (or balot as in the box); it is basically, usually, a duck egg, wherein somewhere in the development of the duck embryo, they boil it and it can be then eaten as a whole.
While I was out and about I also wanted to take photos of the vendors at night.

Another back log of a shot, hence the watermark on the upper left is still the 2018 variant.
Anyways, during a short pre-Christmas family trip to Alcala, Pangasinan, I chanced a upon a stall selling toys, most likely for the Christmas season, while I was strolling around the neighborhood at night.

Shot of a girl make-believing with a dead tree in the beautiful forest. Recently, I made a new friend. This friend is going to have to leave me in about 10 days, but I appreciate the time it has been with me. This friend is named "Lightroom 30-Day Trial". Luckily I'll be able to buy, considering the fact that's it's beneficial to my photography life, but who knows how soon?
Hope you like this shot. I love it when you favorite and comment, you are all so generous and I am so thankful.
