In front of Morishita Station in Koto Ward, Tokyo. Seen as I was riding to work. The white car in the back left was the other vehicle (you can see the front tire is destroyed). Nobody appeared to be seriously hurt. Evidently this had just happened, as no police had arrived yet, and they're usually pretty quick.
Lt. Comstock's plane (squadron VPB-119, crew #3) crashed while attempting to show the Crew 12 survivors which direction to travel in order for them to find their rescue plane; all 13 on board were killed.
According to crew 12 survivors, it appeared that the plane failed to maintain proper air speed and began to stall; they could hear the crew 3 plane engines throttling up but they snagged a tree before they could gain altitude. The plane immediately went into the ground and caught fire.

Not happy with this at all.

I was in a car accident this morning where the car I was driving did a skid, a summersault and maybe more scary stuff, but I exited the vehicle litteraly without a scratch and the people in the other car were also ok, only cuts and bruises.

One of my worst crashes to date. I hit a tree head first full speed upon landing a big jump. I'm a bit sore but I'm glad it's the helmet that's cracked and not my skull.

lorry overturned at sheriffhall roundabout, probably the busiest and worse roundabout in scotland. generating hours of tailbacks. if we were 10mins later then we would probably still be there now. lol :-) not sure how the driver of the mail van is though. knowing my luck, he was probably carrying my very late halloween costume.

A late crash in the peloton saw several riders on the tarmac including Simon Richardson in black & red (IG-Sigma Sport #33) and Pete Williams in orange (Node4-Giordana #'30) above, Tony Gibb (Metalteck Scott #73), Andrew Howdon (Hebalife/LeisureLakeBikes.com #91) and one or two more out of frame.

Yesterday my brother lost control of his 2001 Toyota Camry (unrelated to current events regarding Toyota) and rolled it and in the process took out a power pole. Luckily he was wearing his seatbelt and walked away with only minor bumps and bruises.
this is what can happen when a new mill with 3x the HP of the old one rips the piece out of the shitty import vise (that came with the old mill). What's funny is that I thought I could salvage the piece and drilled those holes AFTER the crash (the scar would be cut out anyway) only to learn that the crash twisted the vise on the table.
Nevermind the chatter marks. It was an experiment with what is obviously a no-good tool.
