"Cape Disappointment"

I came across some articles and videos of this lighthouse and some of it's history when picking out places to photograph while in the PNW. This area in January produces some massive waves, called King Waves, that photographers will flock to. One wave will crash against the rocky shore and then flow back into the next wave coming in, which will produce some epic collisions.

Waves off the coast of Owhiro Bay. I like how this invokes the feeling I have when I hear those waves crash. It’s rather nice to enjoy that sitting in my land locked home.
