Hastings jetty completely obscured by a huge wave during Storm Eunice. I had my Canon EOS 5D MkI & ancient EF 80-200mm f/2.8L wrapped up in a plastic bag sealed around the lens filter and eyepiece to protect them otherwise they would have been ruined with all the salt spray in 115kph winds!

Jökulsárlón is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park.

Having just survived a crash I was lucky enough to find shelter in a discarded plane.. Not sure where I am or if there is any more survivors...Just hoping they find me soon as am battered and bruised and not sure if I have broken anything....Please send help.. Please let the message get through...

I came across some articles and videos of this lighthouse and some of it's history when picking out places to photograph while in the PNW. This area in January produces some massive waves, called King Waves, that photographers will flock to. One wave will crash against the rocky shore and then flow back into the next wave coming in, which will produce some epic collisions.
