I'm glad I stuck around for blue hour on the Lower Comanche trail as it noticeably cooled off and the atmosphere began to display shades of purple and pink.

Iced tea is too pure and natural a creation not to have been invented as soon as tea, ice and hot weather crossed paths.

I don't know. It was a stupid choice for a title. I thought the central figure was pretty cool and just went with it.

Crocodiles can be often seen with their jaws wide open. They open their jaws to cool themselves because they don’t have sweat glands and to avoid overheating.

Shizandra loves nothing better than to sit in the cool snow after playing a rigorous game of ball in the backyard.
What is your flavour? Earlier last year, at Dayboro, north west of Brisbane. We all need to cool down right now. A bit of a food theme today.

What attracted me to this shot was the warm light hitting the tree on the cool blue background. No hdr, no tonal conrast. Only a polarizer and a few tweaks in level and curves. Oh and some sharpening.

The weather is heating up in DC this week; this Gray Catbird had just finished cooling off in the stream at Monticello Park when I took this shot.

A Common Goldeneye drake at 20 degrees below freezing is enjoying the water that's at least 20 degrees warmer than the surrounding air :-)
It started after my sumptuous lunch with “gulai kawah” (A gourmet beef stew originated from the state of Kelantan) in Greenwood, Kuala Lumpur yesterday. Instead of heading back to office, I decided to drive deeper in the outskirt of the town in Gombak, for no apparent purpose.
I ended up in Rebutia Camp, some 30 km from my office, a place renowned for camping activity and concentrated learning center likened to “Summer Camp”.
The place is so calm and unruffled that you’d forget minutes before, you were in the chaotic of the city life.
I tried to take a few shots but it had been an exasperating exertion when all shots were not to my satisfactory. Maybe the message was; I should have just sat there quietly, chill out, enjoy the serenity of the place and back to work after I got fully recharged.
At least it takes the edge off my disappointment a wee bit after seeing the lovely faces of the kids playing in the water in one of the shots, albeit, it’s still not to my penchant as far as photography is concerned.
