... late autumn evening in the churchyard.

Amazing amount of contrails in Europe.

I've found my niche. Wait till I add the hound dogs!

Contrails in a blue sky

I see contrails in the sky

And I think of beauty

I see contrails in the sky

And I think of innocence

I see contrails in the sky

And then I think of death and hatred

And the end of innocence.

I see contrails etched

Across a crisp September sky

Only to wonder

Are they safe?

Are we safe?

Will the world ever again be safe?

I see contrails in the sky

And vow to honor that memory

To never forget

To labor for peace

Here, there, everywhere.

As the sun drops, rays are cast into the hazy sky from the little fluffy clouds scurrying by and distant planes lay down crisp contrails, Yum!

Sunrise on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012. The contrails are from jets inbound to Kennedy Airport in New York City. Each one was actually left in the same place as each jet passed by, and the trails drifted to the left in the high altitude winds. This photo was taken from Forty-Fort, PA.
