Noticed this one evening and had to get a photo. These are contrails caused by jets, and by the looks, this route must have been a popular one!

Today the only clouds in the skies were contrails.

Typical contrail / chemtrail weather, remains of a Sun halo.

A bigger view...they were pulling long trails!

Contrail = short, non-persistent trail caused by the formation of ice crystals in the "wake" caused by a passing jet...

 

CHEMtrail = thick, sometimes greasy-looking "cloud" caused by a spray from a jet, frequently military jets, containing a thick chemical soup
