A medical team utilize a containerized surgical block, newly-installed and in operation with support from UNFPA (under programs funded by the Governments of the UK and Austria, and UN CERF) to provide basic and emergency obstetric care.
The surgical block operates in remote areas of Cabo Delgado, including in Metuge district, where close and timely access to health facilities may be limited.
The medical team is grateful for the surgical block as they can attend to complications in a timely manner, as opposed to having to refer patients to a primary hospital requiring travel and additional time.

The Port of Málaga is an international seaport located in the city of Málaga, on the Costa del Sol coast of the Mediterranean. It is the oldest continuously-operated port in Spain and one of the oldest in the Mediterranean.

"The USDA Forest Service’s Dorena Genetic Resource Center is celebrating 50 years of serving as a regional service center for Pacific Northwest tree and plant genetics.
Dorena GRC houses disease-resistance breeding programs for five-needled pines and Port-Orford-cedar, a native plant development program, and a national tree climbing program for the Forest Service. Their program is known internationally as a world leader in development of populations of trees with genetic resistance to non-native diseases.
The public is invited to the 50th celebration on Thursday, August 25 at the Cottage Grove-based center located 34963 Shoreview Road. The Open House and public tours are scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tours of the center will include:

A length of 225 m places her between Allseas’ dynamically positioned pipelay vessels Solitaire and Lorelay. Precise maneuvering on full dynamic positioning with a stinger positioned on the bow allow Audacia to work safely in congested areas and lay pipes in very deep water. Pipeline start-ups and lay-downs are executed in very quick time ensuring any disruption to other activities near platforms is minimized. Due to her long length and ship-shape Audacia can accommodate multiple workstations and has a greater pipe hold capacity. Her independence from anchor handlers and large buffer capacity also ensure she is less dependent on pipe off-loading from supply vessels. This heavy equipment has been containerized by Big Iron's own resources. This was a "live load" as the truck waited for us to finish loading the container.
The tracks have been left intact in this dozer and we have selected to use a different containerization method. We have the know-how and experise to containerize heavy equipment and use different methods and come up with solutions to various different scenarious.
