APM Terminals Suape signed today the addendum to the adhesion contract for the land of Estaleiro Atlântico Sul (EAS). The technical signing meeting was held at the Suape Port Authority Auditorium in the presence of the Brazilian Minister of Ports and Airports Silvio Costa Filho, Pernambuco State Governor Raquel Lyra, Suape Industrial Port Complex Director President Marcio Guiot, APM Terminals Managing Director Leo Huisman, and APM Terminals Suape Managing Director Aristides Russi Junior. APM Terminals Suape will operate the future APM Terminals container terminal at the Governador Eraldo Gueiros Port Industrial Complex (Suape) in Pernambuco, Brazil.
With this stage completed, APM Terminals Suape receives approval from Brazil’s National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ) to change its cargo profile, enabling the terminal to operate containerized cargo and expand the area to be used by the terminal.
“The new container terminal in Suape will benefit APM Terminals global expertise as one of the largest terminal operators in the world. It will accelerate the region's development, increasing port competitiveness in the Brazilian Northeast. We have a lot of work ahead and we are honored by the trust placed on this project. APM Terminals Suape will be the first 100% electrified terminal in Latin America with a R$1.6 billion investment in this first implementation phase,” Junior said.
The ship "Tasman Endeavour" sits in the Melbourne Port. It is a 185 metre long machine, built in 1994 and has a deadweight of 23000 metric tonnes. I am thinking it is fully loaded here with containerized carg, and is about to leave Melbourne soon.

A complete unit with all parts assembled in a steel frame except its cooling tower (water-cooling) and condenser (air-cooling). It’s suitable for container transportation, easy to ship, move and install. Right after connecting to water and electricity, the machine can be put into use.
Tube ice making process:
Tube ice is formed in a vertical shell-and-tube vessel by water passing down inside the tubes which is cooled by the circulation of refrigeration on the outer surface. The tube ice is about 50 mm in length and 21,28,34 mm for options in external diameter.
The materials for processing are stainless steel SUS304, PE, aluminum alloy and so on. We adopt large round transition design to avoid cleaning corner. Its health level has reached the international HACCP and FDA certification standards. Special alloy material combined with unique heat treatment process makes the evaporator have the best thermal conductivity property.

Both the brine refrigerating block ice machine and the direct refrigerating block ice machine are required to be fixed onto the plant ground. And it will become a trouble when you need to move the machine elsewhere, but that will never happen to a containerized one.
