Constructive Critique wanted on this photo, taken with flash when the light was virtually gone this evening, under exposed by 1 fullstop, so as not to blow the colours on the bird out.

i knew T would love this montessori material: a triangular box of triangles. one large grey one, two green ones, three yellow ones and four red ones. when you match the black lines on the triangles of the same color, you create more triangles the same size as the grey one. then you can arrange all four of the larger triangles to create a supersized one. it took three days to introduce this work, because i gave him only one set of triangles each day. he still hasn't discovered the super-sized triangle, but i think he'll notice it after he masters the red triangles, which follow the same pattern. that will knock him out. : )

The division of society in Ukraine not only prevents a peaceful democratic dialogue, but also constructive cooperation of social actors at all levels in the current upheaval. Seemingly irreconcilable tension lines are not only between the eastern and western Ukraine, they also separate the people within a neighborhood or village and the current division and conflicare apparent at all layers of society. The project "Dialogue for Change" is designed to help overcome these social cleavage by a strengthening of civil society and dialogue in Ukraine. The programm operates on three levels.

One is the local level, with 14 Maysternyas (workshops) for about 280 young adults in eight regions of Ukraine.

One format is the Rural Intitiatives Workshop. This is a non-formal civic education program for young people in the age of 14 to 18. The aims are to support young people and youth initiatives to develop public spaces in rural areas, to empower social, cultural and educational developments and also to develope volunteering in rural areas.

There used to be a halloween village here.

We are dismantling Spookytown today. Right now it looks like an abandoned village, like the zombies have invaded and everyone was either eaten or took off for safe passage.

Every comment, fave and constructive critic is welcome and appreciated.
