Rock Island lighthouse in Co. Cork is set in juxtaposition with a lady on an unlikely position in this image from the Commissioners of Irish Lights. The work appears to be going full tilt with scaffolding, framework and casings aplenty but how did the lady get down there on the rocks?

I have a new phone, another Motorola, and I was trying out the new camera as well. It appears to deliver a much sharper, more detailed photo than my previous one. The only drawback is that this model doesn't come with an ultra-wide lens. I'll see what I can do about hanging on to that phone so I can still use the ultra-wide lens.

HDR - I don't usually shoot manmade subjects but there was so much colourful activity going on at the Clyde River, Batemans Bay, NSW Austalia, where the new bridge is being built, I thought it worth capturing. Bracketed set of three images taken on phone camera and then combined to HDR and tone-mapped on computer.
