Old plumbing and new plumbing. Home Depot didn't have the same piece, so I had to buy new pieces. Had to change the direction (to go backwards) so the new faucet would fit.
Foundry Street, South Boston
I think this was used for streetcars in the early 1900s and used to connect to Broadway Station. It's now being demolished and turned into a place to conduct MBTA emergency test drills, or something. I'm not entirely sure of the whole story.
This was my second attempt to get pictures of this -- the first time there were so many people around (construction crew) I thought I'd be too conspicuous. (I also didn't think to come up here on the overpass...)
