The new O-Train Confederation Line subway is under construction in Ottawa. The Rideau station will serve ByWard Market and the Rideau Centre shopping mall.

Project 353–Learning: ActionSpace at Leighton Project (Elfrida Rathbone Camden)
As part of Project 353 London Transport Museum has been working with ActionSpace, a learning disabilities organisation for artists and the Leighton Project, a further education organisation for young people with learning disabilities. The focus for students during the autumn/winter term was the future of London Transport in the year 2163, 150 years on. The students again visited the Museum gaining inspiration from the wide variety of material on display. Lisa Muten, the ActionSpace artist facilitator encouraged the students to use their imagination to envision what we will be travelling on in another 150 years time. The exhibition held in Kentish Town, also coincided with the 30th year of the Elfrida Rathbone Camden charity. The photographs show the result of their futuristic work and a jolly evening all round–enjoy!
Construction workers in Yueyang are primarily migrant workers from the surrounding countryside.
These men (and women) do not get paid very much, and they work very long and hard days. However, they appreciate the work that they find in the city that they did not have in the countryside.

Construction of Cologne Cathedral began in 1248 and took, with interruptions, until 1880 to complete. It is 144.5 metres long, 86.5 m wide and its towers are approximately 157 m tall. The cathedral is one of the world's largest churches and the largest Gothic church in Northern Europe. For four years, 1880–84, it was the tallest structure in the world, until the completion of the Washington Monument. It has the second-tallest church spires, only surpassed by the single spire of Ulm Minster.

construction going every where......the rocks that took years to form are blasted in few hrs to make way to new buildings.......depleting the recourses for next generation.....on the name of development
Once all this place was full of rocks N some natural vegetation...it gave away way to multi storied buildings which have multi national companies and artificial garden
