Unfortunately the old clean lines have been replaced by a construction zone. As you can see here the framework is up for a series of apartments that will incorporate the old gasworks into the design. But all those criss-crossing lines (including the powerlines) does give us a Bill Brandt style composition.
LCoF -- last week I jumped ahead by mistake and had to "unpost" from the group, so this week I went back to my ONLY thing that is remotely a construction toy and took another close-up of it. Still dusty. HLCoF!
Project: The Cliffs - Tyger Waterfront, Cape Town
Description: One of the structural projects from our office in which I had some involment.
Consists of three blocks, the one on the left being a 12 Storey Luxuary Appartment block which overhangs the existing lake. The two 8 Storey blocks toward the right will be utilised for offices.
