Canadian Coast Guard CCGS Île Saint-Ours at Cornwall Harbour getting ready to install buoys in the St. Lawrence River. The CGS Île Saint-Ours is a small multi-task vessel that has a shallower draft overall and is configured to service marine aids to navigation.
The James Webb Space Telescope, configured for flight, was moved from the cleanroom to the payload preparation facility for fuelling at Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana on 11–12 November 2021.
Webb will be loaded with propellants before being mounted on top of the rocket and then encapsulated by the Ariane 5 fairing.
Webb will be the largest, most powerful telescope ever launched into space. As part of an international collaboration agreement, ESA is providing the telescope’s launch service using the Ariane 5 launch vehicle. Working with partners, ESA was responsible for the development and qualification of Ariane 5 adaptations for the Webb mission and for the procurement of the launch service by Arianespace.
Webb is an international partnership between NASA, ESA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

This is the almost finished version of how I would configure my SAW.
Some details: the stock has been shortened, and a small monopod has been added to grab when firing from the prone position. I like dual grips on a mother like this, for enhanced manouvrability. As you see it is used in combination with a handstop, to make a conmfy grip.
I use an L3 Warrior Systems ATPIAL AN/PEQ-15 Laser Aiming Module, with the pressure switch. For reliably aiming in all conditions there is a T1 Micro optic. The weapon system also has a custom select fire mechanism, with a 180° fire selector.

Shuttleworth Collection Lysander IIIA at Duxford. The aircraft is painted in overall black and configured as an S.D. “special duties” variant as used for clandestine night missions into occupied France during WWII. Such missions included transporting SOE agents into occupied territory, dropping supplies for the French resistance and retrieving aircrew who had managed to evade capture.
This particular aircraft was built in Canada in 1942 and used as a target tug. It was acquired for the Shuttleworth Collection in 1998 and the following year painted in the markings of Lysander III S.D V9367 operating with 161 RAF Squadron from RAF Tempsford in 1942. This included the fitting a dummy 150 gallon underbelly fuel tank and fixed ladder.
Cargo configured Boeing 737-476(SF) EI-STI, of ASL Airlines, at Cotswold Airport, Kemble, on 19th June 2024.
Last night Toronto experienced the most frightening but beautiful display of lightning yet this summer.
I setup the tripod, pointed the camera at the CN Tower, and configured the intervalometer to shoot continuously until it filled the memory card and watched as the storm passed over the city. I took so many shots that I'll have to piece them together as a video :)
My first Lego mech. Light construction adapted to work in M-Tron complexes. Easy to configure - there is a possibility to quick change kind of arms.

The BMW R nineT is a standard motorcycle made by BMW Motorrad since 2014. It is a retro styled roadster marketed by BMW to custom builders and enthusiasts as a "blank canvas for customizing".
The BMW R nineT has several design elements configured to allow the bike to be easily modified, such as separate engine and chassis wiring harnesses and minimal bolts attaching the rear subframe, tail lights, and headlight.
The R nineT version of the bike has upside-down (USD) telescopic forks rather than BMW's usual Telelever front suspension. The other versions have conventional telescopic forks.
All variations have an air/oil-cooled oilhead flat twin (or boxer) 1,170 cc (71 cu in) engine, which has the inlet manifold at the rear of the cylinders and the exhaust at the front. The oilhead is arguably[by whom?] more suitable for customization as it has a more conventional appearance than the new water-cooled engine.

This photograph is a wonderful, battered unicorn. Not only is it one of the rarer concept images of the LLRV, it’s also the FIRST/ONLY time I’ve come across it (or any other original LLRV concept art ‘photo’) in color. It seems to have been part of a binder(s), displayed and obviously handled…a lot, I’m sure all by Bell Aerosystems/NASA personnel. I didn’t dare attempt any “clean up” for fear of doing more harm than good.
And, as a bonus, the artist’s signature - J. R. Fisken - is visible! Although I’ve found nothing on him, I’ll take it.
Note the wonderful detail of the Dryden Flight Research Center, to include the parked cars & aircraft. Even the rail line & freight train...its dual locomotives & caboose being easily discernible. Finally, in the lower right corner, the large compass rose painted on the dry lake to aid inbound aircraft. Really gorgeous airbrush work...only now revealed.

Peggys Point Lighthouse (also known as Peggy's Cove Lighthouse) is in Peggys Cove and is an iconic Canadian image. It is one of the busiest tourist attractions in Nova Scotia and is a prime attraction on the Lighthouse Trail scenic drive. The lighthouse marks the eastern entrance of St. Margarets Bay and is officially known as the Peggys Point Lighthouse.
Peggys Cove is a classic red-and-white lighthouse still operated by the Canadian Coast Guard. The light station is situated on an extensive granite outcrop at Peggys Point, immediately south of the village and its cove. This lighthouse is one of the most-photographed structures in Atlantic Canada and one of the most recognizable lighthouses in the world.
Visitors may explore the granite outcrop on Peggys Point around the lighthouse; despite numerous signs warning of unpredictable surf (including one on a bronze plaque on the lighthouse itself), several visitors each year are swept off the rocks by waves, sometimes drowning.
Peggys Cove is 43 kilometers (26 miles) southwest of downtown Halifax and comprises one of the numerous small fishing communities located around the perimeter of the Chebucto Peninsula. The community is named after the cove of the same name, a name also shared with Peggy's Point, immediately to the east of the cove. Swissair Flight 111 (SR111, SWR111) was a Swissair McDonnell Douglas MD-11 on a scheduled airline flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City, United States to Cointrin International Airport in Geneva, Switzerland. This flight was also a codeshare flight with Delta Air Lines.
On Wednesday, 2 September 1998, the aircraft used for the flight, registered HB-IWF, crashed into the Atlantic Ocean southwest of Halifax International Airport at the entrance to St. Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia. The crash site was 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from shore, roughly equidistant from the tiny fishing and tourist communities of Peggys Cove and Bayswater. All 229 people on board died—the highest death toll of any aviation accident involving a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 and the second-highest of any air disaster to occur in Canada, after Arrow Air Flight 1285. This is one of only two hull losses of the passenger configured MD-11, along with China Airlines Flight 642.
The initial search and rescue response, crash recovery operation, and resulting investigation by the Government of Canada took over four years and cost CAD 57 million (at that time approximately US$38 million). The Transportation Safety Board of Canada's (TSB) official report of their investigation stated that flammable material used in the aircraft's structure allowed a fire to spread beyond the control of the crew, resulting in a loss of control and the crash of the aircraft.

The aircraft, a McDonnell Douglas MD-11, serial number 48448 registered HB-IWF, was manufactured in 1991 and Swissair was its only operator. It bore the title of Vaud, in honor of the Swiss canton of the same name. The airframe had a total of 36,041 hours. The three engines were Pratt & Whitney 4462s. The cabin was configured with 241 seats (12 six-abreast first-, 49 seven-abreast business-, and 180 nine-abreast economy-class). First- and business-class seats were equipped with an in seat in-flight entertainment system, installed at some point after initial entry into service. (Wikipedia) VC514B
