I bought the PAL version, but I'm playing the NTSC version. Yeah.

A passenger configured 727 in 2017! What an amazing sight! Such a beautiful and rare bird. This 727 belongs to Senegal Government and is seen here on short finals to runway 13. Arriving for refuel on a charter flight from Dakar to Haiti, transporting troops.
This 727 used to be the presidential jet for Senegal, but it seems that it was converted back to a regular passenger interior fitting. It also lost the titles and badges on the fuselage. I must say it looks wonderful like this, and the winglets give this classic 727 (manufactured in 1975) a nice modern touch!
Also note that this is a "Super 27": a 727 with engines 1 and 3 replaced with JT8Ds from the MD-80 aircraft series, which are more powerful.

Installation
Tom Bendtsen's "Conversation #2" will consist of some 12,000 books configured as an oval measuring 4 metres in width and 4 metres high. A pixilated landscape image will be created from the colours of the books' spines facing the outside, the neutral/tan colour of the paper will be facing in.
Similar to the earlier work "Argument#4(b)" where the viewer enters the work, an entrance will be constructed in the wall of the piece. Once inside the dark interior of the structure, the viewer will discover small fungal plant-life. This element of the work will not be obvious at first, but will be available to those who take the time to investigate the interior, where they will discover spores, signifying that which is underground, hidden, and regenerating life.
Tom Bendtsen has built a number of works that feature books as physical metaphors of structure, identity and tools of defense and aggression.
I have been meaning to process some of the photos I took during my trip to San Francisco this month, but I've had a lot of non-photography work to catch up on, and have also been building and configuring a new computer to speed up my photography workflow. Having finally got most of the tools I commonly use installed and configured, I wanted to give the system a shakedown.
This photo, which I took just over a week ago, seemed like a good candidate to make sure everything was working as I wanted. I've been meaning to take a shot from the roof of my apartment building at sunset, but looking east rather than west, and have been looking for conditions where the clouds in this direction would be lit up by the sunset.
This was a very hot and humid day, and even by sunset it was very warm on the roof, with occasional gusts of wind that felt as if they were coming directly out of an oven! However, the light on the clouds made up for that, which combined with the reflections of the sky behind me in the buildings, made for some incredible colours!
My ultra-wide lens is currently back at Canon for repairs so I was unable to get the buildings I wanted into a single shot with any of my other lenses, so took a four-shot vertical panorama to capture this view of downtown Vancouver.

This SP-2H from VP-67 was photographed at NAS Norfolk in October 1976 and was home based at NAS Memphis. What's interesting is that it went from a VP-configured aircraft to a DP-2H as seen in the next photo.
jetBlue Mint configured A321 with winglets N945JT on short final for Runway 33L at BWI. This was a rare equipment sub in place of the usual EMB190 from BOS.

The James Webb Space Telescope, configured for flight, was moved from the cleanroom to the payload preparation facility for fuelling at Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana on 11–12 November 2021.
Webb will be loaded with propellants before being mounted on top of the rocket and then encapsulated by the Ariane 5 fairing.
Webb will be the largest, most powerful telescope ever launched into space. As part of an international collaboration agreement, ESA is providing the telescope’s launch service using the Ariane 5 launch vehicle. Working with partners, ESA was responsible for the development and qualification of Ariane 5 adaptations for the Webb mission and for the procurement of the launch service by Arianespace.
Webb is an international partnership between NASA, ESA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA).

Update.. for those of you that contact me about this place. It is located between Quinlan and West Tawakoni, TX on Hwy 276. I have no idea who owns it. It sits, in what I would call, a vacant pasture next to the highway. As of July, 2009, there are no signs and the pasture is grown up in weeds.

This really is the business, seat 7A on the new Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 in business class.
The cabin has 26 business class seats, in a 1-2-1 format, as the first 5 dreamliner aircraft were originally destined & configured for Hainan Airlines ( the seating control panel still has a Hainan menu ).
The seats are Collins Aerospace super diamond reverse herringbone business class seats, allowing direct aisle access for all guests.
Lufthansa began operating its new Boeing 787-9 on short haul flights between Frankfurt & Munich for crew training purposes on Wednesday 19th October 2022.
The first aircraft, D-ABPA "Piper Alpha " arrived in Frankfurt, Germany in late August 2022 & completed some cabin changes from its original Hainan specifications where the plane was originally destined. The first of 32 #Dreamliners Lufthansa
Selected flights between October 19th to October 31st 2022 will operate between FRA & MUN, up to three rotations, LH96/ 101, then 106/111 & 114/119, a big upgrade from the usual A320.
Following these few weeks of domestic flights, the "Berlin" will be introduced on long-haul services to New York (Newark) beginning 1st December 2022.
The #Lufthansa 787-9 is configured with 26 business class, 21 premium economy & 247 in economy.

The McKenzie substation, when it was still configured to serve 2400V delta to a small town across the highway (note that the load was then too small to merit the need for a set of voltage regulators!)
A few years after this picture, the substation was rebuilt to 12.5kV (and the outgoing circuit was relocated beneath the nearby interstate highway).
Above is a CGI rendering based on the long range Sd.Kfz.251/3 Ausf. D, photographed top right. This Funkpanzerwagen identified by Hans Weber as organic to 2./SS-Pz.Nachr.Abt.1. was assigned to Kampfgruppe Peiper during the Ardennes Offensive, in December 1944. The photo was taken in La Gleize after KG Peiper was destroyed. The vehicle mounts a telescopic mast, aka KM9 Kurbelmast, normally associated with the Fu 11 SE 100 used in a Divisionsfunkstelle (radio vehicle used for divisional liaison). Sd.Kfz.251/3 with Fu 11 have been however correlated with use of the KM9 Kurbelmast plus a Rahmenantenna (frame antenna). The vehicle illustrated however uses a KM9 without Rahmenantenne, but has an internally mounted Sternantennefuss (mount for star antenna type d) associated with both Fu 4 and Fu 8 radios. Based on other egs, this vehicle probably also had a 1.4 metre Stabantenne on a late-style externally mounted Stabantennefuss on the upper left hull side, usually used with the common Fu.Spr.Ger.F radio.
The photo below left shows a somewhat similarly configured Sd.Kfz.251/3 of Panzer Brigade.106. pictured north of Remagen, in March 1945. It has a KM9 Kurbelmast on the left rear, but this Funkpanzerwagen instead has an antenna mounted externally on the right rear, without the usual box armour.

Using the detailed Alpha is easy.
After configuring the FCPAe (Fusion Core Particle Accelerator engine) to float mode, Dirk decided to do a system check on the main vacuum channel of the GWETs (Gravitational Wave Emitting Tubes) before heading back to the Exoplanet surface... He found a minor breach that most likely occurred from the dinosaur incident.
Luckily for Dirk and Benny, their spaceship was monitoring their vitals and kept them alert of their surroundings in time to avoid mastication and deglutition by the true owner of the red transportation device they had stumbled across. The ship had swooped in when the dinosaur attacked resulting in claw marks, tooth puncture holes, and this apparent leak.
