Gli Antimatter sono una band irlandese/inglese formata nel 1998 da Duncan Patterson (precedente bassista e compositore degli Anathema) e da Mick Moss.
Storia
La band registra nel 1999 un demo ma questo non ha molta fortuna, tanto che furono necessari quasi due anni perché si presentasse la prima etichetta, la Icon records. Con questa registrano e debuttano con l'album Saviour. Successivamente l'apporto dell'etichetta sembra non essere sufficiente per il gruppo e Duncan Patterson inaugura la sua etichetta personale Strangelight Records proprio con gli Antimatter, lasciando massima creatività al gruppo. I primi album degli Antimatter, Saviour e Lights Out, si focalizzano su una linea vocale melodica, un'elettronica dark ed i bilanciamenti sul confine tra il gothic e il trip hop, mentre gli altri lavori Planetary Confinement e Leaving Eden accompagnano più di un acustico basato su un suono di Melancholic Rock, ormai abbandonate le fredde e cupe atmosfere elettroniche per ritornare al vero suono degli strumenti. Poco dopo l'ultimazione dell'album Planetary Confinement, Patterson lascia la band. Moss ha continuato e ha realizzato il progetto del quarto album Leaving Eden, nei primi mesi del 2007.
I Sotterranei Arci di Copertino sono lieti di ospitare gli ANTIMATTER per questa data a Lecce! Un evento unico da noi, un live di altissimo livello! Ad aprire il concerto ci saranno:

Since their formation 15 years ago, and fronted by long-time member Mick Moss, Antimatter have moved through a broad range of musical identities. The debut âSaviourâ (best album and best newcomer of the year, Psycho! Magazine, 2001) launched the project with a heavy vein in electronica, whilst âPlanetary Confinementâ, four years later, saw a completely acoustic canvass. The next, much celebrated âLeaving Edenâ album sealed the chameleonic nature of Antimatter, portrayed this time as a classic rock outfit. Over the years, tracks have been selected for programming use by the BBC and MTV, others have crossed over to different genres with their use by German rapper Bushido, reaching number 14 and 16 in the German charts, whist Mossâ vocal guest on the single âBroken Smileâ helped the track reach the official number 1 spot in Armenia, in 2012. Antimatter have headlined at the prestigious âWave Gotik Treffenâ (2009), âHard Rock Laagerâ (2003) the recent â1st Annual Rock Festâ in Armenia. Most recently we have seen the new-wave influenced âFear Of A Unique Identityâ (entering the German newcomer charts at number 6), leaving us with the question, what will they sound like next? One thing is for sure, the introspective, sociological lyrics, dark musical vibe, and Mossâs soulful vocals, all staples of Antimatterâs trademark texture, will remain.

Mark Thomas Tremonti è un chitarrista statunitense degli Alter Bridge e dei Creed. Generalmente Mark è il compositore delle musiche dei suoi gruppi.
La sua band solista originariamente era costituita da Eric Friedman e Garrett Whitlock a fianco del bassista di Alter Bridge e Creed Brian Marshall. La band ha eseguito il suo primo concerto solista a Orlando, in Florida, il 17 luglio 2012.
Nel settembre 2012 Wolfgang Van Halen, figlio di Eddie Van Halen, ha sostituito Brian Marshall.

Hans Florian Zimmer è un compositore, produttore discografico e tastierista tedesco, autore di colonne sonore cinematografiche e a capo del dipartimento musicale dello studio cinematografico DreamWorks.

Gli Antimatter sono una band irlandese/inglese formata nel 1998 da Duncan Patterson (precedente bassista e compositore degli Anathema) e da Mick Moss.
Storia
La band registra nel 1999 un demo ma questo non ha molta fortuna, tanto che furono necessari quasi due anni perché si presentasse la prima etichetta, la Icon records. Con questa registrano e debuttano con l'album Saviour. Successivamente l'apporto dell'etichetta sembra non essere sufficiente per il gruppo e Duncan Patterson inaugura la sua etichetta personale Strangelight Records proprio con gli Antimatter, lasciando massima creatività al gruppo. I primi album degli Antimatter, Saviour e Lights Out, si focalizzano su una linea vocale melodica, un'elettronica dark ed i bilanciamenti sul confine tra il gothic e il trip hop, mentre gli altri lavori Planetary Confinement e Leaving Eden accompagnano più di un acustico basato su un suono di Melancholic Rock, ormai abbandonate le fredde e cupe atmosfere elettroniche per ritornare al vero suono degli strumenti. Poco dopo l'ultimazione dell'album Planetary Confinement, Patterson lascia la band. Moss ha continuato e ha realizzato il progetto del quarto album Leaving Eden, nei primi mesi del 2007.
I Sotterranei Arci di Copertino sono lieti di ospitare gli ANTIMATTER per questa data a Lecce! Un evento unico da noi, un live di altissimo livello! Ad aprire il concerto ci saranno:

Since their formation 15 years ago, and fronted by long-time member Mick Moss, Antimatter have moved through a broad range of musical identities. The debut âSaviourâ (best album and best newcomer of the year, Psycho! Magazine, 2001) launched the project with a heavy vein in electronica, whilst âPlanetary Confinementâ, four years later, saw a completely acoustic canvass. The next, much celebrated âLeaving Edenâ album sealed the chameleonic nature of Antimatter, portrayed this time as a classic rock outfit. Over the years, tracks have been selected for programming use by the BBC and MTV, others have crossed over to different genres with their use by German rapper Bushido, reaching number 14 and 16 in the German charts, whist Mossâ vocal guest on the single âBroken Smileâ helped the track reach the official number 1 spot in Armenia, in 2012. Antimatter have headlined at the prestigious âWave Gotik Treffenâ (2009), âHard Rock Laagerâ (2003) the recent â1st Annual Rock Festâ in Armenia. Most recently we have seen the new-wave influenced âFear Of A Unique Identityâ (entering the German newcomer charts at number 6), leaving us with the question, what will they sound like next? One thing is for sure, the introspective, sociological lyrics, dark musical vibe, and Mossâs soulful vocals, all staples of Antimatterâs trademark texture, will remain.

Giuseppe “Peppe” Vessicchio è il più celebre direttore d'orchestra di Sanremo, protagonista del Festival anche con l'hashtag #uscitevessicchio. Ma è anche un compositore e un arrangiatore che ha collaborato con mostri sacri della tradizione italiana - come Gino Paoli, Andrea Bocelli e Zucchero. Nel suo primo libro, il saggio pop La musica fa crescere i pomodori (Rizzoli, 2017), ripercorre la propria vita all'insegna della musica ed esplora il connubio tra armonia e natura.
Giuseppe “Peppe” Vessicchio is the most famous orchestra conductor of the Sanremo Festival, protagonist of the Festival with the hashtag #uscitevessicchio. Dopo il “sold out” registrato lo scorso 23 ottobre al Tunnel Club di Milano, Mark Tremonti torna in Italia a febbraio fra i suoi fans...in una location più grande come i Magazzini Generali. È uno show al fulmicotone, imperdibile, pieno di rock ed energia! Il successo del suo album solista di debutto “All I Was” prosegue e sembra non fermarsi.
Mark Thomas Tremonti è un chitarrista statunitense degli Alter Bridge e dei Creed. Generalmente Mark è il compositore delle musiche dei suoi gruppi.
La sua band solista originariamente era costituita da Eric Friedman e Garrett Whitlock a fianco del bassista di Alter Bridge e Creed Brian Marshall. La band ha eseguito il suo primo concerto solista a Orlando, in Florida, il 17 luglio 2012.
Nel settembre 2012 Wolfgang Van Halen, figlio di Eddie Van Halen, ha sostituito Brian Marshall.

ANTIMATTER
Since their formation 15 years ago, and fronted by long-time member Mick Moss, Antimatter have moved through a broad range of musical identities. The debut âSaviourâ (best album and best newcomer of the year, Psycho! Magazine, 2001) launched the project with a heavy vein in electronica, whilst âPlanetary Confinementâ, four years later, saw a completely acoustic canvass. The next, much celebrated âLeaving Edenâ album sealed the chameleonic nature of Antimatter, portrayed this time as a classic rock outfit. Over the years, tracks have been selected for programming use by the BBC and MTV, others have crossed over to different genres with their use by German rapper Bushido, reaching number 14 and 16 in the German charts, whist Mossâ vocal guest on the single âBroken Smileâ helped the track reach the official number 1 spot in Armenia, in 2012. Antimatter have headlined at the prestigious âWave Gotik Treffenâ (2009), âHard Rock Laagerâ (2003) the recent â1st Annual Rock Festâ in Armenia. Most recently we have seen the new-wave influenced âFear Of A Unique Identityâ (entering the German newcomer charts at number 6), leaving us with the question, what will they sound like next? One thing is for sure, the introspective, sociological lyrics, dark musical vibe, and Mossâs soulful vocals, all staples of Antimatterâs trademark texture, will remain.

Mark Thomas Tremonti è un chitarrista statunitense degli Alter Bridge e dei Creed. Generalmente Mark è il compositore delle musiche dei suoi gruppi.
La sua band solista originariamente era costituita da Eric Friedman e Garrett Whitlock a fianco del bassista di Alter Bridge e Creed Brian Marshall. La band ha eseguito il suo primo concerto solista a Orlando, in Florida, il 17 luglio 2012.

Gli Antimatter sono una band irlandese/inglese formata nel 1998 da Duncan Patterson (precedente bassista e compositore degli Anathema) e da Mick Moss.
Storia
La band registra nel 1999 un demo ma questo non ha molta fortuna, tanto che furono necessari quasi due anni perché si presentasse la prima etichetta, la Icon records. Con questa registrano e debuttano con l'album Saviour. Successivamente l'apporto dell'etichetta sembra non essere sufficiente per il gruppo e Duncan Patterson inaugura la sua etichetta personale Strangelight Records proprio con gli Antimatter, lasciando massima creatività al gruppo. I primi album degli Antimatter, Saviour e Lights Out, si focalizzano su una linea vocale melodica, un'elettronica dark ed i bilanciamenti sul confine tra il gothic e il trip hop, mentre gli altri lavori Planetary Confinement e Leaving Eden accompagnano più di un acustico basato su un suono di Melancholic Rock, ormai abbandonate le fredde e cupe atmosfere elettroniche per ritornare al vero suono degli strumenti. Poco dopo l'ultimazione dell'album Planetary Confinement, Patterson lascia la band. Moss ha continuato e ha realizzato il progetto del quarto album Leaving Eden, nei primi mesi del 2007.

Dopo il “sold out” registrato lo scorso 23 ottobre al Tunnel Club di Milano, Mark Tremonti torna in Italia a febbraio fra i suoi fans...in una location più grande come i Magazzini Generali. È uno show al fulmicotone, imperdibile, pieno di rock ed energia! Il successo del suo album solista di debutto “All I Was” prosegue e sembra non fermarsi.
Mark Thomas Tremonti è un chitarrista statunitense degli Alter Bridge e dei Creed. Generalmente Mark è il compositore delle musiche dei suoi gruppi.
La sua band solista originariamente era costituita da Eric Friedman e Garrett Whitlock a fianco del bassista di Alter Bridge e Creed Brian Marshall. La band ha eseguito il suo primo concerto solista a Orlando, in Florida, il 17 luglio 2012.
Nel settembre 2012 Wolfgang Van Halen, figlio di Eddie Van Halen, ha sostituito Brian Marshall.

Hans Zimmer in concerto per la prima volta in Italia, il 29 giugno al Mediolanum Forum di Assago a Milano, accompagnato dalla sua band, orchestra e coro.
Vincitore di un Oscar, quattro Grammy Awards, due Golden Globes, un Tony Awards e un Classic Brit Awards; compositore di colonne sonore epiche per film come: Il gladiatore, Batman: The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Inception e tanti, tanti altri.
Hans Zimmer sarà accompagnato sul palco dai 15 componenti della sua band, un’orchestra e un coro, raggiungendo così i sessanta musicisti sul palco.
Hans Zimmer ha lavorato ad oltre 120 film che hanno incassato, insieme, più di 24 miliardi di dollari. Tra i progetti in uscita prossimamente ci sono: The Last Face di Sean Penn e Hidden Figures, con Pharrell Williams. Zimmer ha ricevuto un Academy Award, 2 Goldn Globes, tre Grammys, un American Music Award e un Tony Award. L'ultima volta che è stato candidato all'Oscar è stato con Interstellar, quella è stata la decima nomantion della sua carriera. The Australians è una swing band che riunisce esponenti di spicco della scena musicale australiana come l’arrangiatore e compositore Dan Barnett e il leggendario trombettista Bob Henderson. Ospite per tutti i 10 giorni della 28esima edizione di JazzAscona, il gruppo si annuncia ancora più elettrizzante con la presenza (nella seconda metà del festival) della cantante Emma Pask, “the greatest gift to Australian Jazz Vocals in the last decade”, letteralmente “il più gran regalo al jazz canoro australiano dell’ultimo decennio”, secondo James Morrison, uno dei jazzisti australiani più noti di sempre. Vincitrice del Mo Award 2006 come Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Emma Pask si è esibita in giro per il mondo. La performance con la BBC Concert Orchestra a Londra, con la Shanghai Symphony Orchestra in Cina e, ancora, in Italia, Laos, Nuova Zelanda e Singapore sono solo alcuni degli highlight della sua carriera.

Gli Antimatter sono una band irlandese/inglese formata nel 1998 da Duncan Patterson (precedente bassista e compositore degli Anathema) e da Mick Moss.
Storia
La band registra nel 1999 un demo ma questo non ha molta fortuna, tanto che furono necessari quasi due anni perché si presentasse la prima etichetta, la Icon records. Con questa registrano e debuttano con l'album Saviour. Successivamente l'apporto dell'etichetta sembra non essere sufficiente per il gruppo e Duncan Patterson inaugura la sua etichetta personale Strangelight Records proprio con gli Antimatter, lasciando massima creatività al gruppo. I primi album degli Antimatter, Saviour e Lights Out, si focalizzano su una linea vocale melodica, un'elettronica dark ed i bilanciamenti sul confine tra il gothic e il trip hop, mentre gli altri lavori Planetary Confinement e Leaving Eden accompagnano più di un acustico basato su un suono di Melancholic Rock, ormai abbandonate le fredde e cupe atmosfere elettroniche per ritornare al vero suono degli strumenti. Poco dopo l'ultimazione dell'album Planetary Confinement, Patterson lascia la band. Moss ha continuato e ha realizzato il progetto del quarto album Leaving Eden, nei primi mesi del 2007.

Since their formation 15 years ago, and fronted by long-time member Mick Moss, Antimatter have moved through a broad range of musical identities. The debut âSaviourâ (best album and best newcomer of the year, Psycho! Magazine, 2001) launched the project with a heavy vein in electronica, whilst âPlanetary Confinementâ, four years later, saw a completely acoustic canvass. The next, much celebrated âLeaving Edenâ album sealed the chameleonic nature of Antimatter, portrayed this time as a classic rock outfit. Over the years, tracks have been selected for programming use by the BBC and MTV, others have crossed over to different genres with their use by German rapper Bushido, reaching number 14 and 16 in the German charts, whist Mossâ vocal guest on the single âBroken Smileâ helped the track reach the official number 1 spot in Armenia, in 2012. Antimatter have headlined at the prestigious âWave Gotik Treffenâ (2009), âHard Rock Laagerâ (2003) the recent â1st Annual Rock Festâ in Armenia. Most recently we have seen the new-wave influenced âFear Of A Unique Identityâ (entering the German newcomer charts at number 6), leaving us with the question, what will they sound like next? One thing is for sure, the introspective, sociological lyrics, dark musical vibe, and Mossâs soulful vocals, all staples of Antimatterâs trademark texture, will remain.

Poco dopo l'ultimazione dell'album Planetary Confinement, Patterson lascia la band. Moss ha continuato e ha realizzato il progetto del quarto album Leaving Eden, nei primi mesi del 2007.

Since their formation 15 years ago, and fronted by long-time member Mick Moss, Antimatter have moved through a broad range of musical identities. The debut âSaviourâ (best album and best newcomer of the year, Psycho! Magazine, 2001) launched the project with a heavy vein in electronica, whilst âPlanetary Confinementâ, four years later, saw a completely acoustic canvass. The next, much celebrated âLeaving Edenâ album sealed the chameleonic nature of Antimatter, portrayed this time as a classic rock outfit. Over the years, tracks have been selected for programming use by the BBC and MTV, others have crossed over to different genres with their use by German rapper Bushido, reaching number 14 and 16 in the German charts, whist Mossâ vocal guest on the single âBroken Smileâ helped the track reach the official number 1 spot in Armenia, in 2012. Antimatter have headlined at the prestigious âWave Gotik Treffenâ (2009), âHard Rock Laagerâ (2003) the recent â1st Annual Rock Festâ in Armenia. Most recently we have seen the new-wave influenced âFear Of A Unique Identityâ (entering the German newcomer charts at number 6), leaving us with the question, what will they sound like next? One thing is for sure, the introspective, sociological lyrics, dark musical vibe, and Mossâs soulful vocals, all staples of Antimatterâs trademark texture, will remain.

Membro della giuria del 52° concorso internazionale di canto corale Seghizzi e presidente del concorso internazionale di composizione corale Seghizzi. (testo italiano /english) Pietro Ferrario è un musicista italiano nato a Busto Arsizio (VA) nel 1967. Dopo gli studi scientifici ha conseguito i diplomi di pianoforte, composizione, organo e composizione organistica, musica corale e direzione di coro, presso i conservatori di Brescia, Milano e Alessandria, studiando sotto la guida di Lucia Romanini (pianoforte), Bruno Bettinelli (composizione) e Luigi Molfino (organo). Si è perfezionato in composizione con Azio Corghi a Parma e Siena (diploma di merito all’Accademia Chigiana), in musica per film con Ennio Morricone (sempre all’Accademia Chigiana), in organo con Lionel Rogg, Giancarlo Parodi e altri. Ha pure seguito vari seminari di tecnica vocale e direzione di coro tenuti da Stephan Woodbury, Gary Graden e Tõnu Kaljuste.
Svolge attività concertistica nella triplice veste di pianista, organista e direttore di coro.
Come compositore è prolifico e apprezzato autore di varie pagine pianistiche, organistiche, corali, orchestrali, sinfonico-corali, eseguite e registrate in Italia e all’estero (Svizzera, Germania, Francia, Spagna, Irlanda, Australia, Cina, Stati Uniti, Nuova Zelanda, Argentina, Israele, Giappone, Serbia) da importanti formazioni orchestrali e corali (Orchestra Sinfonica Toscanini, Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano, Choeur National des Jeunes, Coro Nacional de Jóvenes de la Republica Argentina, Tower New Zealand Youth Choir, Northern Illinois University Chamber Choir, Antioch Chamber Ensemble, Iowa State University Cantamus Choir, Internationaler Festivalchor C.H.O.I.R., Coro Città di Parma, Ars Cantica Choir, Coro da Camera Trentino, Coro da Camera di Varese, ecc.), a volte con direttori o solisti di fama internazionale, come Aldo Ceccato, Marco Berrini, Giancarlo Parodi. Ha composto su commissione di importanti enti come Fondazione Toscanini di Parma, Settimane Musicali di Stresa, Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano. Alcune sue composizioni corali sono regolarmente proposte ed eseguite in corsi di alto perfezionamento dedicati alla musica corale contemporanea. Nel 2004 gli è stato conferito all’unanimità il 1° premio nel prestigioso Trofeo Internazionale di Composizione Corale “C. A. Seghizzi” 2004 di Gorizia, ottenendo inoltre l’onore di assistere all’esecuzione del suo brano vincitore durante la finale del Gran Premio Europeo di Canto Corale. Nel 2008 ha vinto il 1° premio al II° Concorso internazionale di composizione ed elaborazione corale “Bruno Bettinelli” di Milano, nella sezione “Brani su testo sacro latino per coro di voci miste a cappella” e il 2° premio nella sezione “Elaborazione di un canto popolare per coro di voci virili a cappella” (primo non assegnato). Nel 2011 è risultato finalista al 2° Concorso Internazionale per pianisti-compositori "Franz Liszt" di Bellagio.
Ha pubblicato per importanti editori tra cui Ricordi, Carrara, Rugginenti, Sonzogno, FENIARCO, Edizioni Musicali Europee, e le tedesche Carus-Verlag di Stoccarda e Ferrimontana di Francoforte.
Nel luglio 2009 è stato invitato per la seconda volta come giurato al 48° Concorso Corale Internazionale “Seghizzi” di Gorizia, oltre a presiedere la giuria dell’annesso Trofeo Internazionale di Composizione Corale. Dal 2013 è membro dell'ufficio di Presidenza per l'area musicale dell'Associazione "Seghizzi". Ha lungamente collaborato con l’Archivio Storico di Casa Ricordi.
Nel 2011 è stato docente di armonia, contrappunto, fuga e composizione presso il Conservatorio "Arrigo Pedrollo" di Vicenza. Attualmente è docente di pianoforte, teoria musicale, armonia presso la Civica Scuola di Musica di Arese, oltre ad essere organista titolare dello storico organo Carrera 1841 della Chiesa Prepositurale SS. Gervaso e Protaso di Parabiago.
Dirige il Coro Dalakopen di Legnano (2° premio in fascia oro al 29° Concorso Corale "Franchino Gaffurio" di Quartiano 2011, 2° premio al 46° Concorso Corale "Trofei Città di Vittorio Veneto" 2012 nella categoria A: "musiche originali d'autore", 1° premio all'8° Concorso Corale Nazionale di Biella nella categoria "Cori Polifonici"), la Corale della Basilica di Cuggiono e l’Ensemble vocale Calycanthus, da lui fondato nel 1997, formazione mista a cappella dall’eclettico repertorio, vincitrice del 1° premio assoluto in due tra i più importanti concorsi corali nazionali (XXII Concorso Corale Nazionale “Guido d’Arezzo” 2005 ad Arezzo, e 14° Gran Premio “Efrem Casagrande” 2006 di Vittorio Veneto). A capo di questa formazione nel luglio 2008 ha conseguito al 47° Concorso Corale Internazionale “Seghizzi” di Gorizia il 2° premio nella categoria “elaborazioni corali di musica leggera e jazz”, nonché il premio Feniarco come miglior coro italiano e il premio speciale come miglior gruppo cameristico del concorso. Inoltre, nel 2012 ha vinto il 1° premio all'8° Concorso Corale Nazionale "Città di Biella" nella categoria "ensemble solistici - gruppi vocali"). In passato Calycanthus è stato più volte premiato in altri concorsi nazionali e internazionali (si ricordano almeno i primi premi assoluti a Quartiano-2001, a Milano-2002 e 2007, e al Concorso Corale Internazionale di Riva del Garda-2003), oltre ad aver tenuto concerti in tutta Italia e all’estero. Nel 2007 ha registrato un CD di musica corale contemporanea per la prestigiosa etichetta discografica milanese Bottega Discantica, e nel 2012 un CD di musica pop-jazz a cappella per l'etichetta SMC di Ivrea. Vytautas Miškinis, Rihards Dubra e Azio Corghi hanno composto brani per Calycanthus, presentati in prima esecuzione nel 2008, 2009 e 2013.
Pietro Ferrario is an Italian musician born in Busto Arsizio 3-XI-1967. He has artistic activity as a pianist, organist, and choir conductor. In 2004 he was unanimously awarded the first prize at the prestigious International Trophy of Choral Composition "C. A. Seghizzi" 2004 in Gorizia with the motet “Jubilate Deo”, performed during the final of the European Choral Grand Prix 2004. In 2008 he won the first price in the Second International competition of composition and choral elaboration "Bruno Bettinelli" in Milan, in the section "Works with sacred Latin text for mixed a cappella choir" with the motet “Exultemus”, and the second prize in the section "Elaboration of a folk song for a cappella male voices choir" (first prize not assigned). In 2011 he was finalist in the 2nd International Competition for pianists-composers "Franz Liszt" in Bellagio. He has published for important publishers such as Ricordi, Carrara, Rugginenti, Sonzogno, FENIARCO, Edizioni Musicali Europee, and the German Carus-Verlag of Stuttgart and Ferrimontana of Frankfurt. In July of 2009 he has been invited for the second time as a member of the jury at the 48th International Choral Competition "Seghizzi" in Gorizia, and also as the chairman of the jury of the associated "Seghizzi" Choral Composition Trophy. He is menber of the Bureau for the music area of the "Seghizzi" Association since 2013. He has collaborated extensively with the Ricordi Historical Archive. In 2011 he was professor of harmony, counterpoint, fugue and composition at the Vicenza Conservatory. He currently teaches piano, musical theory and harmony at the Civica Scuola di Musica of Arese. He is the main organist on the 1841 Carrera Organ of the SS. Gervaso e Protaso Church in Parabiago, the town near Milan where he lives. He is the conductor of Dalakopen Choir (2nd prize in golden sash at the 29th "Franchino Gaffurio" Choir Competition in Quartiano 2011, 2nd prize at the 46th Vittorio Veneto National Choral Competition 2012, 1st prize at the 8th Biella National Choral Competition 2012), and of Ensemble vocale Calycanthus, which he started in 1997, a mixed a cappella group with an eclectic repertoire; first prize winner in two of the most important Italian choral competitions (Arezzo 2005 and Vittorio Veneto 2006), having been awarded several times in the past in other national and international competitions, with which he has concerts all over Italy and abroad. With Calycanthus he participated in the 47th "Seghizzi" Choral Competition in 2008, obtaining the 2nd prize in the category "choral elaborations of pop music and jazz", the Feniarco prize for the best Italian choir, and the special prize as best chamber choir of the competition. Furthemore, 1st prize at the 8th National Choir Competition "Città di Biella" 2012. Heading this group, he recorded a CD of contemporary choral music in 2007 for the Italian label Bottega Discantica, and a pop-jazz a cappella arrangements CD in 2012 for SMC label. Vytautas Miškinis, Rihards Dubra and Azio Corghi composed pieces for Calycanthus, premiered in 2008, 2009 and 2013.

Dopo il “sold out” registrato lo scorso 23 ottobre al Tunnel Club di Milano, Mark Tremonti torna in Italia a febbraio fra i suoi fans...in una location più grande come i Magazzini Generali. È uno show al fulmicotone, imperdibile, pieno di rock ed energia! Il successo del suo album solista di debutto “All I Was” prosegue e sembra non fermarsi.
Mark Thomas Tremonti è un chitarrista statunitense degli Alter Bridge e dei Creed. Generalmente Mark è il compositore delle musiche dei suoi gruppi.
La sua band solista originariamente era costituita da Eric Friedman e Garrett Whitlock a fianco del bassista di Alter Bridge e Creed Brian Marshall. La band ha eseguito il suo primo concerto solista a Orlando, in Florida, il 17 luglio 2012.
Nel settembre 2012 Wolfgang Van Halen, figlio di Eddie Van Halen, ha sostituito Brian Marshall.
