Le sue ultime parole rilasciate in un’intervista parlando della fine del lockdown dalla casa di Bologna in cui viveva. L’Italia perde un grande artista, un grande uomo.

La Terrazza Mascagni è uno dei luoghi più eleganti e suggestivi di Livorno ed è ubicata sul lungomare. Fu costruita a partire dagli anni venti del Novecento, ma la terrazza fu notevolmente estesa nell'immediato dopoguerra, quando fu intitolata al compositore livornese Pietro Mascagni.
La Terrazza Mascagni è una grande piazza delimitata verso il mare da una sinuosa balaustra formata da 4.100 eleganti colonnine in conglomerato cementizio; il pavimento è costituito da una scacchiera di 8.700 metri quadrati formata da 34.800 piastrelle bianche e nere.

The Mascagni Terrace is one of the most elegant and suggestive places in Livorno and is located on the seafront. It was built starting from the 1920s, but the terrace was considerably extended in the immediate post-war period, when it was named after the Livorno composer Pietro Mascagni.
The Mascagni Terrace is a large square bordered towards the sea by a sinuous balustrade made up of 4,100 elegant concrete conglomerate columns; the floor consists of a 8,700 square meter chessboard made up of 34,800 black and white tiles.

Juan Crisóstomo Jacobo Antonio de Arriaga y Balzola fu un compositore basco noto anche come il "Mozart spagnolo" per le similitudini dei loro destini, entrambi enfant prodige, entrambi ottimi compositori, entrambi morti giovani, Arriaga addirittura a 20 anni !

Al nome originario di Torre del Lago venne aggiunto, il 21 dicembre 1938, quello di Puccini, per rendere onore al compositore che qui visse e compose molte delle sue celeberrime opere liriche. La sua residenza, Villa Puccini, sorge sul belvedere del lago di Massaciuccoli ed ospita la tomba del compositore

Nessun viaggio a Livorno è completo senza una passeggiata lungo questa terrazza fronte mare con la sua pavimentazione a scacchiera in bianco e nero. Quando fu costruita negli anni '20, si chiamava Terrazza Ciano in onore del leader del movimento fascista di Livorno; ora porta il nome del compositore d'opera livornese Pietro Mascagni (1863-1945).
No trip to Livorno is complete without a stroll along this seafront terrace with its dramatic black-and-white chessboard-style pavement. A watch and a score as a whole, made me think of a ballet entitled "The Dance of the Hours" (La Danza delle Ore in Italian) taken from an opera by the Italian composer Amilcare Ponchielli, La Gioconda. With the "Dance of the Hours" Ponchielli has magically rendered into music the idea of the twelve dancers representing the twelve hours and two dancers who simulate the hands of the clock. Music and ballet describe in a fabulous symphonic progression the dance of the hours of dawn, the hours of day, the hours of the night and the morning. The "Dance of the Hours" is the only piece by an Italian composer used by Disney in the animated musical film Fantasia. This is my musical and photographic contribution of today’s Macro Mondays them: “Lockdown Song.” HMM!

Un orolologio e una partitura in un insieme mi hanno fatto pensare ad un Balletto dal titolo "La Danza delle Ore" tratto dall'Opera La Gioconda del compositore Amilcare Ponchielli.Con la “Danza delle ore” Ponchielli ha magicamente reso in musica l'idea delle dodici ballerine raffiguranti le dodici ore e dei due ballerini che simulano le lancette dell’orologio. Musica e balletto descrivono in una favolosa sinfonica progressione l'avanzare delle ore del giorno e della notte. La "Danza delle ore" è l'unico brano di un compositore italiano utilizzato dalla Disney nel film musicale di animazione Fantasia.
Une montre et une partition dans son ensemble m'ont fait penser à un ballet intitulé « La danse des heures", tiré d'un opéra du compositeur italien Amilcare Ponchielli: « La Gioconda ».Avec la "Danse des heures", Ponchielli a superbement réalisé une idée en musique avec douze danseuses représentant les douze heures et deux danseurs qui simulent les aiguilles de la montre où musique et ballet décrivent, dans une fabuleuse progression symphonique, l'avance des heures du jour et de la nuit. Notre balade va nous conduire à une altitude de 1273 m,où nous trouvons les vestiges du château qui a été mentionné pour la première fois au 12e siècle. Le poète et compositeur Oswald von Wolkenstein y a notamment vécu et a composé le célèbre "Hauenlied". Les ruines sont aujourd'hui la propriété du diocèse de Bolzano-Bressanone.

Unsere Wanderung wird uns auf eine Höhe von 1273 m führen,wo wir die Überreste der Burg finden, die erstmals im 12. Jahrhundert erwähnt wurde. Jahrhundert erwähnt wurde. Der Dichter und Komponist Oswald von Wolkenstein lebte hier und komponierte das berühmte "Hauenlied". Die Ruinen befinden sich heute im Besitz der Diözese Bozen-Brixen.

Fu costruito negli anni dal 1751 al 1753, per ordine dell'elettore Massimiliano III, da François de Cuvilliés il vecchio, affiancato da François de Cuvilliés il giovane e dall'allievo Karl Albert von Lespilliez Per la decorazione interna, gli scultori Johann Baptist Straub , Anton Pichler e Joachim Dietrich utilizzarono più di 1000 alberi dei boschi dello Staffelsee.
Il 12 ottobre 1753 il teatro fu inaugurato con l'opera Catone in Utica del compositore italiano e direttore dell'orchestra bavarese di corte Giovanni Battista Ferrandini.

All the photos I present were taken in towns and on the beaches near Taormina (Sicily-Italy); I made photos related to "street photography and beach photography"; I made some photo-portraits of people I didn't know, I thank them very much for their sympathy and their availability; I tried to capture the essence of minimal photographic stories, collected walking along the street or on the beaches ... in search of fleeting moments ...
My thoughts, like a huge multitude of his admirers, go to the great Italian singer-songwriter, composer, musician, enlightened thinker and film director Franco Battiato, who recently passed away at the age of 76: He was born in Riposto (at the time called Ionia, in Sicily) near the town where I live (Taormina), and He lived not far away, on the slopes of Etna, in the village of Milo.
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently by means of a post -production. ---------------------------------------------------------
Tutte le foto che presento sono state realizzate in paesi e sulle spiagge vicini Taormina (Sicilia-Italia); ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography ed alla beach photography”; ho realizzato dei foto-ritratti di persone che non conoscevo, le ringrazio veramente tanto per la loro simpatia e la loro disponibilità; ho cercato di cogliere al volo l’essenza di storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada o sulle spiagge... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Il mio pensiero, al pari di una enorme moltitudine di suoi estimatori daltronde, va al grandissimo cantautore, compositore, musicista, pensatore illuminato e regista italiano Franco Battiato, scomparso di recente all'età di 76 anni: egli nacque a Riposto (all'epoca chiamata Ionia) vicino al paese nel quale vivo (Taormina), ed abitava non molto distante, alle pendici dell'Etna, nel paesino di Milo.
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.---------------------------------------------------------

La Moldava, nota anche con il nome tedesco Die Moldau, fu composta nel 1874 dal compositore ceco Bedřich Smetana. In questo pezzo, Smetana usa la pittura tonale per evocare i suoni di uno dei grandi fiumi della Boemia. Il pezzo contiene più famosa melodia di Smetana. La composizione descrive il corso della Moldava, a partire dalle due piccole sorgenti per poi fluire verso Praga, oltre il Vysehrad e poi maestosamente svanire in lontananza.

All the photos I present were taken in towns and on the beaches near Taormina (Sicily-Italy); I made photos related to "street photography and beach photography"; I made some photo-portraits of people I didn't know, I thank them very much for their sympathy and their availability; I tried to capture the essence of minimal photographic stories, collected walking along the street or on the beaches ... in search of fleeting moments ...
My thoughts, like a huge multitude of his admirers, go to the great Italian singer-songwriter, composer, musician, enlightened thinker and film director Franco Battiato, who recently passed away at the age of 76: He was born in Riposto (at the time called Ionia, in Sicily) near the town where I live (Taormina), and He lived not far away, on the slopes of Etna, in the village of Milo.
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently by means of a post -production. ---------------------------------------------------------
Tutte le foto che presento sono state realizzate in paesi e sulle spiagge vicini Taormina (Sicilia-Italia); ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography ed alla beach photography”; ho realizzato dei foto-ritratti di persone che non conoscevo, le ringrazio veramente tanto per la loro simpatia e la loro disponibilità; ho cercato di cogliere al volo l’essenza di storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada o sulle spiagge... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Il mio pensiero, al pari di una enorme moltitudine di suoi estimatori daltronde, va al grandissimo cantautore, compositore, musicista, pensatore illuminato e regista italiano Franco Battiato, scomparso di recente all'età di 76 anni: egli nacque a Riposto (all'epoca chiamata Ionia) vicino al paese nel quale vivo (Taormina), ed abitava non molto distante, alle pendici dell'Etna, nel paesino di Milo.
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.---------------------------------------------------------

I sapori i colori ,le atmosfere della celebre cittadina ,sorta là dove la Senna incontra il mare ,non si devono certo a monumenti grandiosi o a superbe opere d'arte .,quanto piuttosto a un'architettura minore del XVII e XVIII secolo ,che compone un quadro suggestivo ,
capace da oltre un secolo di ammaliare artisti e pittori . La sua storia è legata inscindibilmente anche a 2 illustri suoi concittadini :Il compositore Erik Satie e il pittore Eugène Boudin che ritrasse le infinite variazioni di luce presenti nel cielo di Normandia . ( Touring Ed. )

La Terrazza Mascagni è uno dei luoghi più eleganti e suggestivi di Livorno ed è ubicata sul lungomare a margine del viale Italia. Il nucleo originale fu costruito a partire dagli anni venti del Novecento, ma la terrazza fu notevolmente estesa nell'immediato dopoguerra, quando fu intitolata al compositore livornese Pietro Mascagni.

La Terrazza Mascagni è uno dei luoghi più eleganti e suggestivi di Livorno ed è ubicata sul lungomare a margine del viale Italia. Il nucleo originale fu costruito a partire dagli anni venti del Novecento, ma la terrazza fu notevolmente estesa nell'immediato dopoguerra, quando fu intitolata al compositore livornese Pietro Mascagni.

Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.---------------------------------------------------------

All the photos I present were taken in towns and on the beaches near Taormina (Sicily-Italy); I made photos related to "street photography and beach photography"; I made some photo-portraits of people I didn't know, I thank them very much for their sympathy and their availability; I tried to capture the essence of minimal photographic stories, collected walking along the street or on the beaches ... in search of fleeting moments ...
My thoughts, like a huge multitude of his admirers, go to the great Italian singer-songwriter, composer, musician, enlightened thinker and film director Franco Battiato, who recently passed away at the age of 76: He was born in Riposto (at the time called Ionia, in Sicily) near the town where I live (Taormina), and He lived not far away, on the slopes of Etna, in the village of Milo.

Regno Unito, Suffolk, Aldeburgh, Primavera 2018
Aldeburgh è una città costiera nella contea inglese del Suffolk. La città era la casa del compositore Benjamin Britten. Rimane un centro artistico e letterario, con un festival annuale di poesia, insieme a numerose feste gastronomiche e altri eventi culturali. Ex porto Tudor, Aldeburgh ottenne lo status di borgo nel 1529 da parte di Enrico VIII. Sulla spiaggia di Aldeburgh, a breve distanza a nord del centro città, si trova una scultura chiamata “Scallop” (conchiglia), dedicata a Benjamin Britten, che passeggiava lungo la spiaggia nel pomeriggio. Realizzato in acciaio inossidabile dall'artista Maggi Hambling, con sede in Suffolk, è alto 4,6 metri ed è stato inaugurato nel novembre 2003. Il pezzo è composto da due conchiglie incastonate, ciascuna spezzata, con il guscio dritto con incise le parole: " ascolto quelle voci che non saranno mai affogate ", che sono prese dall'opera di Britten, Peter Grimes. La scultura è fonte di controversie, con alcuni residenti che la considerano la rovina della spiaggia. È stata vandalizzata con graffiti e pittura in 13 occasioni. Ci sono state petizioni per la sua rimozione e per la sua conservazione.
Aldeburgh is a coastal town in the English county of Suffolk. The town was the home of the composer Benjamin Britten. It remains an artistic and literary centre, with an annual Poetry Festival, along with several food festivals and other cultural events. A former Tudor port, Aldeburgh was granted borough status in 1529 by Henry VIII. On Aldeburgh's beach, a short distance north of the town centre, stands a sculpture called Scallop, dedicated to Benjamin Britten, who used to walk along the beach in the afternoons. Created from stainless steel by Suffolk-based artist Maggi Hambling, it stands 4.6 metres high, and was unveiled in November 2003.The piece is made up of two interlocking scallop shells, each broken, the upright shell being pierced with the words: "I hear those voices that will not be drowned", which are taken from Britten's opera Peter Grimes. The sculpture is controversial in the local area, with some local residents considering it spoiling the beach. It has been vandalised with graffiti and paint on 13 occasions. ZAZ - Je veux
San ha sostenido siempre la idea que en la vida las cosas no pasan porque sí. Ella es artífice, virtuosa, protagonista, estrella de su propia existencia. Sustenta en su mente el boceto, la reflexión, la concepción preconcebida que los “hitos vitales” suceden en la forma que cada “ente” los planifica.
Es soñadora, imaginativa e inteligente y sus ojos lo dicen todo. Compositora, intérprete y melódica perseguirá sus sueños hasta “atraparlos”.
Hace un par de meses se ahuyentó desvinculándose y absolviendo definitivamente ciclos de su vida, porque la existencia al fin y al cabo es eso: fases, períodos o trayectos con “altos” en el camino en los que cada uno decide porque bulevar pasear. Ella prefiere “engañarse” con sus ojos que con la mirada de otros. Ella es San y su mirada.
The look of San.
San has always maintained the idea that in life things do not happen just because. She is an architect, virtuous, protagonist, star of her own existence. Elle est rêveuse, imaginative et intelligente et ses yeux disent tout. Compositeur, interprète et mélodica poursuivront ses rêves jusqu'à ce qu'ils "les attrapent".
Il y a quelques mois, il a été désengagé et a été définitivement libéré de ses cycles de vie, car l'existence en définitive est celle-ci: des phases, des périodes ou des parcours avec des "arrêts" dans la manière dont chacun décide à cause de son parcours. Elle préfère se "tromper" avec ses yeux qu'avec le regard des autres. Elle est San et son regard.

Un paio di mesi fa è stato disimpegnato e ha definitivamente assolto i cicli della sua vita, perché l'esistenza è dopotutto: fasi, periodi o viaggi con "fermate" nel modo in cui ognuno decide perché camminare a piedi. Preferisce "ingannare se stessa" con gli occhi piuttosto che con lo sguardo degli altri. Lei è San e il suo aspetto.

IL CUORE DELLA CITTA'
Tra le cose da vedere a Burano vi è Piazza Galuppi, dedicata a Baldassarre Galuppi, compositore e organista nativo dell’isola, tale piazza rappresenta il cuore del turismo ed è dove sono situati la maggior parte dei negozietti e dei locali. In questa piazza si possono visitare i più famosi simboli di Burano:
Il primo è senza dubbio la chiesa di San Martino Vescovo, una curiosa chiesa che non ha un’entrata principale, bensì solo una laterale. Ristrutturata diverse volte prima del 1500,ma il lavoro è ancora incompiuto.
Il Campanile Storto è un altro edificio originale della città: inizialmente costruito come un normale campanile, un cedimento del terreno lo ha inclinato nella posizione attuale, rendendolo simile alla torre di Pisa.

Among the things to see in Burano is Piazza Galuppi, dedicated to Baldassarre Galuppi, composer and organist native to the island, this square represents the heart of tourism and is where most of the shops and clubs are located. In this square you can visit the most famous symbols of Burano:
The first is undoubtedly the church of San Martino Vescovo, a curious church that does not have a main entrance, but only a side one. Renovated several times before 1500, but the work is still unfinished.
The Campanile Storto is another original building of the city: initially built as a normal bell tower, a subsidence of the land has tilted it to its current position, making it similar to the tower of Pisa.

La Moldava, nota anche con il nome tedesco Die Moldau, fu composta nel 1874 dal compositore ceco Bedřich Smetana. In questo pezzo, Smetana usa la pittura tonale per evocare i suoni di uno dei grandi fiumi della Boemia. Il pezzo contiene più famosa melodia di Smetana. La composizione descrive il corso della Moldava, a partire dalle due piccole sorgenti per poi fluire verso Praga, oltre il Vysehrad e poi maestosamente svanire in lontananza.
Vltava, also known by its German name Die Moldau, was composed in 1874 by the Czech composer Bedřich Smetana.In this piece, Smetana uses tone painting to evoke the sounds of one of Bohemia's great rivers. The piece contains Smetana's most famous tune. The composition describes the course of the Vltava, starting from the two small springs then flowing toward Prague, past the Vyšehrad, and then majestically vanishing into the distance.

The Palazzo del Sedile was built by Archbishop Saraceno in 1540 as the headquarters for the municipal meetings of the “town university”.
It was altered and refurbished in 1779, and still preserves much of its original appearance today. Its shape is unusual: the great entrance archway is encircled with niches containing terracotta statues representing the four cardinal virtues of a good government: Justice, Fortitude, Prudence and Temperance, and surmounted by two small Rococo-style towers: the left one is embellished with a fine sundial and the right with a clock.
Keeping a symbolic watch over the city from above are the inevitable statues of Matera’s patron saints, St Eustachius and Maria Santissima della Bruna.
The local authority offices were in the building until 1944, and it is now home to the Egidio Romualdo Duni National Conservatoire (Conservatorio Nazionale), after the composer of the same name who came from Matera.

Il Palazzo del Sedile, realizzato nel 1540 dall’arcivescovo Saraceno come sede delle adunanze municipali dell’ “università cittadina”, venne ristrutturato e modificato come oggi appare nel 1779, e presenta una forma insolita : un grande arco di ingresso, attorniato da nicchie con statue di terracotta che rappresentano la allegoria delle quattro virtù cardinali idonee ad un buon governo: giustizia, forza, prudenza e temperanza. I due svettanti torrini in stile rococò contengono a sinistra una bella meridiana e a destra un orologio
In alto, troviamo le immancabili statue dei patroni di Matera, S. Eustachio e Maria Santissima della Bruna che simbolicamente vegliano sulla città.
Questo edificio fu utilizzato fino al 1944 come sede dell’amministrazione comunale, oggi è sede del Conservatorio Nazionale intitolato al compositore materano “Egidio Romualdo Duni”.
IL FIUME SACRO ALLA PATRIA INCONTRA IL SOLIGO.
Un fiume, due identità. Proprio come il suo nome. Fino all’Ottocento era conosciuta come la Piave, molto più di un corso d’acqua per le popolazioni aggrappate alle sue rive, per poi adottare l’articolo maschile, indispensabile per sottolineare quello che sarà poi il suo tratto distintivo, cioè essere il “Fiume sacro alla Patria”.
Il Piave ha veramente due lati: uno, più docile, in cui si è sviluppato un notevole benessere economico, mentre il secondo, quello più buio, è costellato di conflitti, guerre mondiali, disastri ambientali e sfruttamenti.
Una delle canzoni patriottiche più note in Italia – e una delle pochissime che ancora si ricordano praticamente tutti – è la “Leggenda del Piave”, quella che comincia con le parole: «Il Piave mormorava calmo e placido al passaggio / dei primi fanti il 24 maggio». Fu scritta negli ultimi giorni di guerra e divenne famosa soprattutto negli anni successivi al conflitto. Nonostante il successo durato decine di anni, l’autore della “Leggenda del Piave”, Giovanni Ermete Gaeta, un compositore e poeta dialettale napoletano, non ci guadagnò quasi nulla.

THE RIVER SACRED TO THE PATRIA MEETS THE SOLIGO.
One river, two identities. Just like his name. Until the nineteenth century it was known as the Piave, much more than a watercourse for the people clinging to its banks, to then adopt the masculine article, essential to underline what will later be its distinctive feature, that is to be the " River sacred to the Fatherland ".
The Piave really has two sides: one, more docile, in which considerable economic well-being has developed, while the second, the darker one, is dotted with conflicts, world wars, environmental disasters and exploitation.
One of the best known patriotic songs in Italy - and one of the very few that practically everyone still remembers - is the "Legend of the Piave", the one that begins with the words: "The Piave murmured calmly and placidly as the first infantrymen passed on the 24 May". It was written in the last days of the war and became famous especially in the years following the conflict. Despite the success that lasted for decades, the author of the "Legend of the Piave", Giovanni Ermete Gaeta, a Neapolitan dialectal composer and poet, earned almost nothing.

All the photos I present were taken in towns and on the beaches near Taormina (Sicily-Italy); I made photos related to "street photography and beach photography"; I made some photo-portraits of people I didn't know, I thank them very much for their sympathy and their availability; I tried to capture the essence of minimal photographic stories, collected walking along the street or on the beaches ... in search of fleeting moments ...
My thoughts, like a huge multitude of his admirers, go to the great Italian singer-songwriter, composer, musician, enlightened thinker and film director Franco Battiato, who recently passed away at the age of 76: He was born in Riposto (at the time called Ionia, in Sicily) near the town where I live (Taormina), and He lived not far away, on the slopes of Etna, in the village of Milo.
For some photographs I used a particular photographic technique at the time of shooting, which in addition to capturing the surrounding space, also "inserted" a temporal dimension, with photos characterized by being moved because the exposure times were deliberately lengthened, they are confused -focused-imprecise-undecided ... the Anglo-Saxon term that encloses this photographic genre with a single word is "blur", these images were thus created during the shooting phase, and not as an effect created subsequently by means of a post -production. ---------------------------------------------------------
Tutte le foto che presento sono state realizzate in paesi e sulle spiagge vicini Taormina (Sicilia-Italia); ho realizzato foto riconducibili alla “street photography ed alla beach photography”; ho realizzato dei foto-ritratti di persone che non conoscevo, le ringrazio veramente tanto per la loro simpatia e la loro disponibilità; ho cercato di cogliere al volo l’essenza di storie fotografiche minime, raccolte camminando per la strada o sulle spiagge... alla ricerca di attimi fugaci s-fuggenti ...
Il mio pensiero, al pari di una enorme moltitudine di suoi estimatori daltronde, va al grandissimo cantautore, compositore, musicista, pensatore illuminato e regista italiano Franco Battiato, scomparso di recente all'età di 76 anni: egli nacque a Riposto (all'epoca chiamata Ionia) vicino al paese nel quale vivo (Taormina), ed abitava non molto distante, alle pendici dell'Etna, nel paesino di Milo.
Ho utilizzato per alcune fotografie una tecnica fotografica particolare al momento dello scatto, che oltre a catturare lo spazio circostante, ha "inserito" anche una dimensione temporale, con foto caratterizzate dall’essere mosse poiché volutamente sono stati allungati i tempi di esposizione, sono confuse-sfocate-imprecise-indecise...il termine anglosassone che racchiude con una sola parola questo genere fotografico è "blur", queste immagini sono state così realizzate in fase di scatto, e non come un effetto creato successivamente, a posteriori, in fase di post-produzione.---------------------------------------------------------
The Brucknerhaus (German pronunciation: [ˈbʀʊknɐˌhaʊ̯s] is a festival and congress centre in Linz, Austria named after the Austrian composer Anton Bruckner. The building was designed by Finnish artchitects Heikki and Kaija Siren. Its construction took place from 1969 to 1973. It opened on 23 March 1974.
It holds about 200 performances per year, with about 180,000 of total audience. It is home to the Ars Electronica festival and Brucknerfest. In conjunction with the Austrian broadcasting company Österreichischer Rundfunk, it also organizes the Linzer Klangwolke, an annual musical event.
