Compositionally Challenged week 25 is Smiles. This is SOOC. I was walking around, camera in hand, looking for something for Week 25. Charlie ran in front of me, flopped down, and started squirming. I pointed the camera at him, and this was the shot I found right in front of me.
Whenever my cats do that, I always think it's their way of saying "Aren't I cute? Don't you feel the need to stop what you're doing and pay attention to me?"
How can I ignore that?
How can I not smile?
I thought that I would share this with you. Composition plays a major role in every image you shoot. Even a simple headshot. This headshot incorporated the use of the Rule of Thirds, 1/3 - 2/3 Rule, S Curve, Shallow DOF, and a Frame. #learnphotography #photographer #photography #composition #woman #photo

The Seven Lakes, also known as Haft Kul, are situated in the west-central Fann Mountains, part of the Pamir-Alay range in Tajikistan's Sughd Province, near the city of Panjakent. Each lake has its own unique shade of blue or turquoise, attributed to the varying mineral composition and depth of the waters. These lakes are formed by geological activity and are fed by melting snow and springs. Starting from the lowest altitude, the first lake is named Nezhigon (Eyelash), followed by Soya, Hushyor, Nofin, Khurdak, Marguzor, and Hazorchashma. As one ascends from lake to lake, the road meanders through traditional Tajik villages, and the stunning scenery offers a glimpse into the lives of the locals who live in this rugged terrain. The lakes are a hub for ecotourism and outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and fishing. Traditional guesthouses and homestays in the nearby villages provide hospitality to visitors seeking the unique natural beauty and cultural experiences the region offers.
Compositionally Challenged week 32 is The 'Eyes' have it.
The eyes, and the facial structure around them, portray emotion and I wanted to illustrate that for this challenge. So I stood in front of a mirror and made faces at myself. The camera was set on 'Creative Shot' which creates multiple images with effects. Then I sat down at the computer and cropped as per the challenge requirement.
