One of my favorite Warblers, it was moving too fast and it was up too high for me to get one good shot so I combined the shots I could get into this composite. Thanks to Wildlife Paparazzi for the idea. Taken at Sandy Ridge Reservation Metro Park.
Underwater at the Lighthouse, a
Hillsboro Lighthouse Composite. I've been trying to learn to use my GoPro and have been having a good time snorkeling around the lighthouse rocks with it. I managed to get a decent composition but when the GoPro is partially above the surface, given the sun angle this time of year, the sky on the right side of the picture gets blown out. I resorted to a sky replacement that seems to match the mood.
A composite created from two images shot from the river bank along the mighty Mississippi River.
Whenever there is a beautiful day moon, I often try to capture birds or airplanes in the same image. But as you know, depth of field doesn't allow both subjects to be in focus in the same shot, at least to my knowledge. So, one has to take two shots and use the magic if Photoshop to make it happen.
Photoshop composite. Children showing a mix of interest and fear for a strange humanoid. Is it dangerous? Is it human? The doubt over any deviant trait is present in every human. You want to be member of the group? Then you have to comply to its norms.
Both statues are from public space in Amsterdam (North, Westerpark), artists are unknown to me. The children are by Juandpaola via Pixabay. The background is Ben_Paul_F0610.

A composite of several 3 second exposures of lightning striking over the Old Town of Heidelberg. This was my first time out shooting lightning, and I was very lucky to be nice and dry while the storm passed along the valley in the distance.
Composite of 3 flowers in a bud vase, rotating the camera 180 degrees while taking 9 photos at 20 degrees intervals. I then brought them into Photoshop and used the Lighten blend mode in layers. I then duplicated the outcome and flipped it horizontally. Again used the Lighten blend mode.
The original shot was done last winter at Skogafoss, Iceland. The sky was shot a couple of weeks ago and added in PS.

Wasn't sure what to post tonite as I am busy trying to configure a new wifi card (not having much luck so far)
Anyway this is a combination of burst mode shots of a gull in flight, the first being upper left corner. Only one shot was not used as it was out of focus.
I had t adjust the blue in the sky slightly, as of course the sky colour changes as I move across it while following the gull.
I basically put this together just for myself to compare wing positions to see which I thought looked best, without intentions of posting. to be honest I can't really decide if any one image is better than the others. Maybe it is me, I just see them as different. the only one I really do not like is the very first one as the wings are not very visible at all.
If you have a favorite that you think looks best let me know, maybe I am missing something.
This two image composite was created using the OM-5ās image overlay feature with some editing in on an iPad using Apple Photoās magic eraser clean up tool to remove some of the lines coming from the āEverything is Going to be Alrightā sign.
Image composite. Dunes and tree are from Dubai, background mountain and arch from Wadi Rum, Jordan, Milky Way from Reunion Island.
Mum's deconstruction.
A series of images documenting the destruction of a (withered) white mum in 3 stages. Each is a macro composite of positive and negative versions of itself.
Composites are usually not what I would post but this worked out nice. Basically it's just a sky replacement rather than a composite and the sky shot was taken by me as well ;-)
