I just ran across this image in my files. It is a composite of four photographs of Blue Herons building their nest. It was never posted because it was made before I joined flickr.

Death Valley

The sequence is chronological but not to scale since I shot from different distances with different zooms, and I didn't know that I was going to do this.

This was an unexpected development, and all were handheld in a bit of a crowd, grabbing the shots as best I could under the circumstances.

Quick composite of the partial eclipse this morning from Tampa.

I combined a photo of a tulip that I took today with that of some forget-me-nots that I took yesterday and as it was Sunday, I played - HSS!
