Basalt composites have mechanical properties close and in some cases greater than carbon fiber sheets, but they are very inexpensive. Sierra Composites sheets have an excellent surface ready for paint and a slight texture back for bonding. An 11"x8" sheet at .022" only weighs 1.9oz (53g)

This composite image has been created using 7 different images and a vector page curl. Lots of layer masks were used as you can see from the screen shot of the Layers panel.

This collage uses Trees Somewhere Near Lillooet from Stewart (Under Attribution License) and Moody skies at Cleguerec from Rhian vK (Under Attribution License).
This is another example of a Composite that I made, I think it is ok considering that this is the first time I have used things like layer masks, I tried to make it as convincing as possible so for this one just a practise I thought it would be a good idea to merge images of the same lighting environment just to see if I could do it without experimenting with adjustments and things yet.
Just practicing compositing different images into one. Also this is going to be a Wolverine noir picture... I am editing the claws in .. should be done soon :)

B&W Neopan 400 shot through 3 successive colour filters, red/green/blue and composited in PS to give a color image. I'm surprised how well they worked out !
This is recently out-of-business grocery in Eden Center, the strip mall heart of the Vietnamese-American enclave located in Northern Virginia. This grocery store served the community for over two decades, and happened to go out of business during the seven months I lived in the Oakwood Complex next door. For a few months, even I shopped there--but not nearly as much as I'd planned to. The windows are all covered in Chinese and Vietnamese newspaper ads. This is a composite of seven images.
A photoshop composite I made took a few hours just for fun mostly, hope you think it's kinda cool =)
