Composite of images taken by the Cassini spacecraft from Feb 23-25, 2011 in the Wide Angle continuous band (CB2) infrared wavelength filter.
Images have been coordinated and stacked to that the full length of the giant north temperate zone storm can be seen. The main whorl of the storm appears to be in the middle part of the second image from the left and appears as a dark zone oriented WSW-ENEsurrounded by brighter clouds.

A project for my Yavapai College Photoshop 2 class. This is a simple composite of 3 photos, all taken from a tripod using the same exposure and focus, then combined in Photoshop.
Composite image taken by processing streams of 1000 to 2000 frames of video captured from my 8" Newtonian Telescope through Registax 5 to align and stack frames and produce an optimised image.
Post-processin in Registax 5 is done by way of adjusting various wavelet patterns to produce the correct balance.
