But why is it so important to preserve legacy technology in the first place? For one, many of these older systems are still perfectly functional and can provide significant cost savings for businesses that don't need the latest and greatest technology. Additionally, legacy technology often has a unique charm and character that can't be replicated by modern devices.

As suppliers of obsolete electronic components, the team understands the importance of these older systems and is committed to providing quality service and support to help businesses maintain and repair their legacy technology. With a vast inventory of obsolete electrical components and a team of knowledgeable experts, GreenTree Electronics is the go-to source for businesses looking to keep their older systems up and running.

But GreenTree Electronics is more than just an obsolete electronic components distributor. They're also dedicated to promoting sustainability by reducing electronic waste. By providing businesses with the components they need to repair and maintain their older systems, GreenTree Electronics is helping to reduce the amount of electronic waste that ends up in landfills.

In conclusion, GreenTree Electronics is a crucial player in the preservation of legacy technology. By providing businesses with the hard-to-find parts they need to keep their older systems running, GreenTree Electronics is helping to ensure that these systems continue to function for years to come. And by promoting sustainability through the reduction of electronic waste, GreenTree Electronics is doing their part to create a better world for future generations.

1. Development of aerospace sheet metal fabrication (ASMF)

Among the aerospace equipment, sheet metal components are accounted for over 20% out of the total number of manufacturing workload. In contrast, high-strength aluminium, magnesium, titanium and other lightweight alloys of sheet metal components are prone to wrinkling and cracking during formation due to their low plasticity. This issue has always been plaguing the aerospace industry and hindering the light-weighting and integral development.

In particular, the manufacture of alley-complex-shaped thin-walled sheet metal components made of aluminium, magnesium, titanium with the boss, reinforcing ribs and small rounded corners has become an important issue to improve the skill level of aircraft aerospace sheet metal fabrication industry.

2. The formation of new technologies in aerospace sheet metal fabrication

In the process of ASMF operations, the correct and scientific selection of ASMF technologies can ensure the quality of the product processing, in addition to effectively regulate and guide the aerospace sheet metal fabrication working process. This is the reason that it is necessary to carry out a compelling and in-depth study of the product processing to ensure that the ASMF technology can meet the needs of sheet metal processing.

The combination of fluid-filled deep-draw forming technology and high-speed impact forming technology resulted in a new impact hydroforming technology, and a sheet impact hydraulic forming limit tester was designed from this. Through extensive experiments, it has been proven that this technology and device are also suitable for the formation of aluminium alloys, aluminium-lithium alloys, magnesium alloys, titanium alloys and other materials.

3. The role of the new technology of aerospace sheet metal fabrication

The impacting hydroforming technology enables the formation of complex thin-walled buccal-frame components in ASMF, and the world's first production-ready impacting hydroforming device has been successfully developed based on this new principle.

This technology can change the traditional aluminium alloy sheet forming process of more than eight times of manual-assisted manufacturing process to two times of automatic production process, without intermediate process heat treatment, which can increase the production efficiency by four times, and is expected to promote and enhance the development level of aerospace sheet metal manufacture industry. Previously, the drop–weight forming technology of the Soviet Union had been inherited, which required a combination of mould pressing and manual operation, but the formed parts had defects such as scratches on the surface, low yield and poor precision and consistency.

The Frederique Constant manufacture measures 3200 square meters, divided over four floors, offering an attractive working environment in the sectors of movement component production, calibre assembly, watch assembly, and extensive quality control. Numerically-controlled machines of the latest generation are located in a large atelier in the basement, where all component manufacturing is concentrated. Calibre and watch assembly, as well as state-of-the-art quality control is primarily organized on the first floor of the new Frédérique Constant building. The building is also the brand’s international headquarters.

I have shared with some friends components of my reluctance to move from here. With Patty, it had been a years long struggle for her to get out of a house that wasn't working for her, to get into a place that was closer to work for both of us. For me, this rustic location had kept me grounded in the outdoors, and provided a 20 mile moat between me and the trappings of work, but mostly, this shotgun shack stood as a hardwood example of of a simple and solid existence on this planet, one I needed represented in my life. These walls contained a minimum of comforts, and seeping through their cracks and gaps was the earth and trails, boughs and branches, wind and rain, and the radiant heat of the sun.

The stats alwayys relate to performance and engine power, armaments and payload. The complexity of flexible controls drawn by hand before the days of CAD are omitted but without pinching, twisting, fracturing, crumpling these parts must flex and work each time the wings fold, fielding forces at rest and at work.
