Como véis y os dije ayer, he entrado a formar parte de EL Reto de Beads Perles, todo un reto para mí. Estoy muy orgullosa de ver mi logo en ese cartel.

I recently helped Lyle with a little science experiment to determine the torque specs for the bolts on his upcoming run of Street Fixed hubs. We've been riding the prototypes for thousands of kilometres, and are looking forward to Vallie Components first production run! Head on over to the Vallie site for more info on the hubs and the results of our testing.

One of the most exciting components of A+ Partners in Education, Battle of the Books gets fifth grade students excited about reading. A lively academic competition, Battle of the Books improves reading comprehension, builds vocabulary, and teaches teamwork and good sportsmanship. The 2015 competition runs concurrently at Howard, Mt. Hebron, Oakland Mills, River Hill and Wilde Lake high schools.
Teams of five students and one adult coach each read the same 16 pre-assigned books over four months. Selected by HCLS instructors and HCPSS media specialists, titles include a wide range of reading levels and subjects. Thanks to generous sponsors, all teams receive a set of books. In addition to reading the books, teams choose a team name then dress accordingly.
During the "battle" (a 50-question exam), a moderator asks questions that relate to one of the following: a direct quote from one of the book characters; a statement about something that happens in the book; a passage taken directly from the book; details about an illustration or picture. Winning teams receive prizes.
fed up with all those orthogonal ribs as the ultimate articulation of undulating spaces?
this is a fabricated sample detail of GTI auditorium 3: enveloping a surface with a distributed rib structure...

Closeup of some of the components. Are any not properly rated for a 120vdc rated controller? From the melted craters in the aluminum housing, I can tell several of these components failed earlier, prior to being rebuilt. This unit barely made it out of the shop, before it blew up, during it's first life. It's been rebuilt, but I'm abit gun shy of using it again.
While searching for something, I found an old laptop PC part, and it was so interesting to me, I photographed it. End of story.
This was a couple hours before the Blizzard of '13 came by and trapped us in our own apartment :(

The 2007 Demonstration CF-18 "Hornet" flying over Cold Lake Air Weapons Range (CLAWR). The demo CF-18 "Hornet" commemorates the 25th anniversary of the "Hornet" in Canada. On brilliant backgrounds of red and blue, the two tails of the aircraft features a stylized "hornet "insect and the Air Force Roundel. The paint scheme was designed by the 410 Squadron Graphic Designer Jim Belliveau, and was painted by the Aircraft Component & structures (ACS) technicians of 410 Squadron and 1 Air Maintenance Squadron. The Canadian Forces has named Captain Yanick ''Crank'' Gregoire as this year's CF-18 National Demo Pilot. He will fly his 13 minute act at 15 show sites for a total of 31 shows.
