My wife started a tapestry and is still yet to complete it. I was looking around for something to do with Strand for a scavenger hunt and decided on this.

Quick test before I go home for the evening. Only one monitor is visible in this shot.

January/February 2009 - Niagara Escarpment Dogsledding Trek

Vic Hutter will reattempt the first known journey by dogteam along the complete length of the Niagara Escarpment in Southwestern Ontario. Despite 2 unsuccessful attempts in February 2008 due to marginal snow conditions, heavy duty steel runners will be employed in the 3rd solo attempt to overcome any stretches of trail suffering from lack of snow. The planned route is approximately 600 km long and includes significant portions of the Bruce Trail. Using a mixed team of 6 Siberian and Alaskan Husky sled dogs, the trip will take 7 days to complete. The starting point will be Tobermory on the Bruce Peninsula, and the trek will end in Niagara Falls.

South College, 150 Hicks Way, UMass Amherst, Amherst, MA.

"The original South College building was designed by Severance of Boston and completed in 1867. Located at the campus core near Goodell Hall and the Old Chapel, the building served as a male dormitory for 47 students, and also contained classrooms, reading rooms, and a natural history collection. South College was destroyed by an accidental fire.

"A replacement South College building was designed by Hartford, Connecticut based architect William Brocklesby and was completed for the 1886-1887 school year on its original site and foundation. The new building’s Chateauesque style features a granite foundation, red brick exterior, and traditional asphalt shingle roof. Like its predecessor, the exterior reflected a multipurpose interior."

I stopped at the ride light at Michigan Avenue and 35th Street, had this funny feeling, something was just not right, something was incomplete, unfinished and hanging in my awareness like an invisible roll of cold steel on the back of a flat bed truck. It came and went, like the completion of something very incomplete.

In Tucson, CultureStrike artists were able to complete two butterfly murals and we shared them at an arts and music festival, where a number of people took photos in front of the butterfly. This is where we kicked off the Butterfly Crossing campaign, which was originally conceptualized at the 2012 Creative Change gathering in Utah.

This was originally intended to be a picture of the completed model, except I'd missed out one aerial. I've uploaded this photo because it shows the plane's colours much better than the other photos do.
