Completed in 1897 as Chicago’s first central public library, the building was designed to impress and to prove that Chicago had grown into a sophisticated metropolis. The country’s top architects and craftsmen used the most sumptuous materials, such as rare imported marbles, polished brass, fine hardwoods, and mosaics of Favrile glass, mother-of-pearl and colored stone, to create an architectural showplace. Located on the south side of the building, the world’s largest stained glass Tiffany dome ― 38 feet in diameter with some 30,000 pieces of glass ― was restored to its original splendor in 2008. On the north side of the building is a 40-foot-diameter dome with some 50,000 pieces of glass in an intricate Renaissance pattern, designed by Healy & Millet.

I had 2 of the wrecked carriages from the 2003 lair extra so I stuck them together and painted them up. I think it looks ok, but I'm not 100% happy with it. I have clearly made a miscalculation, as the carriage fits through the arch on the right but not the left, which is of course why I've put it on the right side of the tunnel!
i treated the outside of the sauna with an old family recipe that uses pure pine tar and a few other ingredients to make a lasting waterproof coating for the sauna that is perfectly natural. no solvents, no man made chemicals.
Today we also completed hanging the curtains and it was a pretty breezy day so we had some new challenges which is good so no surprised on the big day. Now we need to get some sort of weights or make our own to keep the curtains from blowing into the food :O
Glad this happened or I would have panicked the day before when these will be rehung!!!
There is an opening on the slider side which was part of the plan just in case someone needs to get into the house from here and no one will see the servers n such from this angle either - well except the grooms parents but that's ok they know how the magic works too :D

Completing 60 years of service, Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 362, known as the 'Ugly Angels,' completed a memorial flight over Helmand province, Afghanistan, Aug. 9. The squadron was created in 1952 and holds the distinction of being the first Marine helicopter squadron to arrive in country during the Vietnam War and has completed its final flight as a CH-53D squadron in Afghanistan more than 40 years later.

The assembly of the driver portions of the circuit are complete. The logic chips are all fitted into place, the transistor/resistor array is installed, the parting, wiring, and assembly of the nixie board is left.

This is a more complete macro stack. 15 Images shot from a 49mm macro tube (28+14+7) on rails off a solid stand using LED ring lighting on the nifty-fifty connected to a Canon 450D (Rebel XSi). Slightly cropped to remove edge distortion from moving the lens.
This is a complete build around our F5Pista frameset. Every so often we get a chance to put together a bike just how we'd like it... and here is a prime example. It's elegantly understated with a sandblasted and clear-coat raw frame that has a textured, almost gunmetal, surface.
