A comparison on size between my old resin figures and the new hollow ones.

If you're wondering what the figure is check back through myflickr you'll find it (though bear in mind it's missing it's face here).

P.S, the rug is not usually that filthy.

Jade

comparison with Bratzillaz body

After opening Jade i am not sure i am going to keep them. Her legs are really wobbly, they do click to bend. She has a brand new body sculpt, but the 2001 original head sculpt.

they look nice in the new boz though.

Note: Please do not take or use my photos without my permission first. After a friend's photos were stolen from Flickr and used on ebay, I'm much more cautious.

Here's more comparisons from my bjdpifa order.

Littlefee!

Both littlefee I've had from S/L would not put their feet together the way littlefee do from Fairyland. I figured out why. The magnets in the ankles need to be opposite each other. So the ankles magnets will actually attract to each other. The bjfpifa ltf does this. For example, bjdpifa feet cannot go on the wrong ankle - they repel each other.

S/L do not. S/L put their magnets in the same way on both sides.. so I could put the wrong foot on each leg.. since the ankle magnets repel each other, it's harder to get her to stand as cute as she could.

Aside from that, bjdpifa littlefee come with the back magnets. S/L do not.

And I haven't figured out why this is happening yet, but something about the hip joints (not the clicky parts), don't seem to fit as nicely on the S/L littlefee. She's a tiny bit more floppy in the hips than the other girl.

If you're interested in ordering from bjdpifa, at this time, the best way to do it is to use an agent. It's not hard, and I've written up a tutorial to get you started. This will work for other things too, so in one order, you can order from bjdpifa and many other places all in one shot. Ordering from Taobao - bjdpifa example

...and Callie Moo helping!

The excuse :P behind my Blybe purchase was that she is in fact different from CCE.

First of all, the skin color, CCE is more yellowish, Blybe is pinkish. I don't know there's any other color variations, though..

I haven't removed their lipsticks (yet) but I can tell the lip shape behind the make up is different. I *think* CCE's mouth is bigger and more defined.

Chins are different too. CCE's seems more defined, Blybe's is a bit rounder.

The biggest difference is the nose.

They both have wide noses. Wider than Blythe's. But Blybe's nose is round and cute while CCE's.. looks like a bad nose job.. The nose bridge is wider than Blybe's and the nostrils are two vertical lines.. odd. Also, I haven't taken a pic of this yet, but CCE's nose has a small bump. This is only noticeable when you look at her profile.

Eyes are different. Blybe eyeballs are shiny and pupils are Blythe sized. CCE's pupils are small, so the front facing eyes make her look ..possessed. I haven't removed any eyechips yet. But from what I can see.. Blybe eyechips are strange. They seem flat around the pupils o_O

I know some people find Blythe's stock eyechips dull (not sparkly enough, so they put foil behind them)..but they haven't seen Blybe's eyechips!...even CCE's eyechips are more sparkly.

Oh, in this pic Lola, the Blybe, still has her funny thin black eyeshadow. The CCE had it too. I removed that already...

Hair. CCE's is more coarse, and very badly rooted. It's soft, but the ends look like they could use some help. The fringe is a shame. Too thick and mullet-y.

Blybe's hair is slightly better. But like you've heard before, not as good as Blythe's (and this is ..knowing Blythe's hair is not perfect from factory!).

One thing I should point out is that you can pull Blybe's hair off easily (so I gotta be gentle when brushing her hair). CCE's hair stays on.

I uh, tried to paint the basket to make it look slightly less plasticky. I have mixed feelings about the result. It looks kinda like I just slapped paint all over it (which was pretty much what happpened). Should I scrape off all the paint and redo it?

This is a comparison between Mars images taken on successive nights. The image on the left was taken in around 4/5 seeing with intermittent high clouds. The one on the right was taken in probably 4.5/5 seeing on a clear night.

There is definitely an improvement in resolution between the two nights. I would have to say that the image on the right is right at the limits of resolution on my 6" telescope.

Was happy to capture some of the clouds in several areas of Mars including one that is over Olympus Mons
