Comparison shot of 27cm, 21cm and 25cm Obitsu bodies. I think the 25cm one is a newer version. She's very long in the body.

Comparing the Jesse and Richard sculpts. I have Thomas too but didn't feel like pulling his head off, lazy me. Jesse's head is larger, similar to Harlequin.
Had some time today to spend with my dolls. I took out some of my Yo-SD girls and was surprised how different their bodies are.
I did a comparison of the same shot developed normally to the instructions and another time stand development for 60 Minutes.
Left shows the normal dev, right the stand dev.
No sharpening applied.

I always like a size comparison photo! :D
It gives my viewers a good sense of the different sizes, IMO.
Fairyland Minifee body from 2013.
Iplehouse skin comparison from the top Spesial real, Glow Peach gold(more yellow), at left Peach gold(more orange) and Normal
Comparison of the skull of a spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta) with a gray wolf (Canis lupus).
The hyena is on the left, the wolf on the right.
The two skulls are more or less equal in length. Note the difference in width, also note the relatively shorter length of the snout and the greater length of the sagittal portion of the skull, giving a greater base for the biting muscles.
Size comparison between Lati White, Pukipuki, Pukifee and Lati Yellow.

Since I'm one photo away from my 3000th post, I thought it'd be funny to post a photo of myself for anyone who's curious as to what I look like. However, there are plenty of photos of me on here if you know where to look so I decided to post this comparison photo instead. Both photos were taken on the same bridge which crosses the Keil Burn, near Lower Largo.
Shot of my back garden taken with a Nikon D2X, converted in Bibble pro.
Aperture: f8
Lens: Nikkor 12-24 F4 AF-S, at 18mm.
I'd advise looking at these at large or orginal size. The bottom line (crazily) is that the Foveon-based compact camera looks crisper and more natural to my eyes than the top-of the line DSLR. The DP1 is slow, clumsy and inflexible to use, but when it comes down to image quality, it's astonishing!
The one strong mitigating factor here is the lens - I'm not a huge fan of the 12-24: I've always felt that it looks a little mushy compared to other Nikkors in the same price range, but it happens to cover the right FOV to match the 16mm fixed lens in the DP1. I'd also point out that only the middle to far distance should be used for comparison: the pair of jeans in the foreground are a little more out of focus in this version of the shot, due to the shallower DOF afforded by the larger sensor in the Nikon.

Comparison of two VQ1005 cameras purchased 2 weeks apart. The one on the left has much more contrast but I couldn't get the sd slot to work. The camera on the right has less contrast, much more noise but the sd card slot works. See notes for more details.
