Another 'Freight' by David Blazejewski

In the comments of this photo: flic.kr/p/2mdXzNW that I posted yesterday Frank Keller reminded me that I did actually shoot another real "revenue" freight on the bridge. I suppose the reason I forgot was because well....look at this. Terrible afternoon light on a hazy mid summer day shooting toward the sun coupled with about the most unappealing consist you could ask for with a one unit wonder leading a string of empty 'bare tables' is pretty forgettable don't you think?!

SD70MAC 4006 leads a string of empty 89 ft deck flats south as train 192S an extra military train that delivered equipment north to Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks and was headed back to Anchorage. They are seen here at MP 284.2 sailing nearly 300 ft above Hurricane Gulch on the more than 900 ft long bridge built in 1921.

Been working on a lot of these BossVerse Batfigs over the weekend. Today I’ve got Batgirl and Barbara.

Batgirl:

Torso and legs are from GotG Nebula, with a bunch of black detailing. Cape is custom. The head is from Chima, with some yellow tape for the eyes. Her cowl is from her first fig.

I like it.

Babs: Painted flesh onto a torso and added the head. Hair is a WW one.

Pretty simple figs, but I really like em!

Next up is probably a couple villains, because I made 3-4 of them.

I have been wanting to visit and take a pic of this old Shipwreck for a while. After checking the tide and sunset times I took a chance on the weather breaking for a couple of hours, it did.

When the tide goes out at Berrow, near Burnham-On-Sea UK, the bones of a long dead ship, the Norwegian barque SS Nornen stick out of the sands as a stark reminder of a savage gale and a gallant rescue at the end of the last century.
