This was a shot from Reflection Lake this past Setember. I cannot get enough of this place. I try to get up there as much as I possibly can. I have been a season ticket holder (lol) for a few years now. On this particular day the wind was not cooperating with making reflections possible but I did manage to find a spot that water calm enough to get a little bit. The Mosquito's were biting like crazy though... Oh well. It is a small price to pay for such a beautiful scenery.

I think people look really cool when they smoke. doesn't influence me in any way because i veryvery rarely smoke tabacco.. but i still think its cool.

Having missed our annual weekend in Newcastle last year we were really looking forward to it this time round, and it didn't disappoint!
Friday night we met up with two friend we hadn't seen in a long while.
Steph came with us to Eazy Street bar first off, then on to The Stand comedy club for a night of stand-up comedy which she really enjoyed - something she had not done before in female mode so it was a new experience for her, and a very enjoyable night for us all. I do love a bit of live comedy.
After the comedy we went on to our favourite Newcastle venue, Rusty's where Fiona came to meet us too. Was a fantastic evening, and so lovely to catch up with two dear friends.
My original choice for the evening but I just wasn't happy with it so I changed my mind.

We had another weekend in Lincoln because we love it so much. Started off really well too - an awesome burger at Huckleberry's foloowed by a night down at The Birdcage pub to see an open mic night. Some brilliant acts on there, we had a great time.
My wife and I are in Edinburgh today and staying in a lovely hotel ~ overnight and peace and quiet!
It’s cold but lovely and we’ve walked and walked around the city, today and now back at the hotel, relaxing and soon getting ready for dinner! Unfortunately, I left my MacBook Pro at home so all photos remain on my camera but I did manage to catch this shot of Edinburgh Castle with my iPhone 8 Plus.
So, managed to keep on track with my 365!!

December was a bitterweet month at LFF. Sadly our starting venue, the Marriott, is no longer available to us as it's being turned into an Italian restaurant.
THe Marriott has been a brilliant start venue for the last year and a bit and it's sad to have to move, but we got a professional photographer in to take some photos of the last one, and some incredible group photos outside the Marriott which just go to show what an amazing event Leeds First Friday is.
We helped another newbie on her first time out - Carla. And I met up with my friend Beth - Beth helped me out the first time I ever went, and she doesn't get out much so it was amazing to see her again. And bumped into lots of friends old and new.
All in all, a great night!

Gemma and I went away to Birmingham for a fantastic weekend, taking in a trip to the theatre to see the excellent Kinky Boots on the Friday night, followed by Birmingham Belles - a regular trans event in Birmingham.

September's LFF weekend was a bit different from usual. The evening was tinged with sadness and loss as we had a memorial for Janie Marie Swann, the amazing organiser of LFF who sadly passed away in July.
But it wa also a hugely social night meeting loads of people, friends old and new.
And I did a thing - I made my karaoke debut! It was nerve-wracking but I loved it! After a bit of a shaky start I loved every second!

August is our birthday month. Mine on the 12th and Gemma's on the 15th, so we went to Pink Punters in Milton Keynes to celebrate. We had a wonderful weekend!
