DO NOT FAVORITE WITHOUT LEAVING COMMENTS!!!! We don't care how many favorites you select form our photostream, as long as you comment. We are simply getting tired of having 100’s of our photos in our stream added to someone’s favorites and not even so much as receiving a single comment. Don’t think that by just adding a comment to a single photo like “Nice” and then continuing to add several more photos to your favorites is going to suffice. We are going to start BANNING those who continue to simply blow off our wishes.
Feel free to invite our stuff to your groups. If you do, please ensure we are invited to any "private" groups before we will add our photos.
If you find any photos worthy of a FAVORITE, please leave a comment to tell us why! We appreciate comments and playful banter among our fans, we thank you for that! Be warned, if you add several of our photos to your Favorites without a comment, you will be BANNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will not tolerate disrespectful and excessively vulgar comments! If you don't like our photostream, simply move along and don't spread your negativity here! Those who feel the need to spew negativity will simply be banned, removing any insolent comments you insist on sharing.

Back out to The Star again for another evening out! Time for a few pictures before the taxi arrrives.
Western explorers Lewis and Clark commented that buffalo were so abundant that they darkened the entire Great Plains; estimates of the number of buffalo ranged from 30 to 75 million. Free roaming buffalo are now quite rare but can be seen in Wind Caves National Monument and Yellowstone National Park. In Colorado, a remarkable opportunity to see buffalo is at historic Zapata Ranch, adjacent to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Two thousand buffalo are on the sprawling ranch, which is in the San Luis Valley but its holdings reach up into the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. While a portion of the herd is earmarked for harvesting, another group is retained semi-wild and allowed to die of old age. I saw one bull that was just a few pounds shy of a ton.
For a nominal fee ranch hands will take photographers out to see the herd. I caught this bull with the San Dunes and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the background. Lodging at historic quarters and fine dining are available at Zapata Ranch so photographers, hikers, and birders can enjoy their activities.
After I took this photo the bull went back to browsing on Rocky Mountain Bee Plants. I don't think I frightened him.
See comments for a second shot and puppy pics. couldn't decide which to use.
Nothing says amuuuurica more than a bearded man sitting on his lawn playing with puppies in american flag shorts. It's what this country was founded on.
Met this fine fellow couple days ago at the mushroom festival (see day 253). Asked if he didn't mind getting photographed, and the next day I was at his house for these shots, along with a couple for another project I am working on. He immediately offered me a beer, and brought out 20 little jack russell terriers. (see comments and picture uploaded after this one)
Great guy. great shoot.
Your comment can let me know why you like her for the next chance I can take the photos in your spec for keeping.Thanks...BigBKK

A plethora of pictures for you from this April evening. This New Look purple dress might be a cheapie but it's a winner - it's rapidly becoming a firm favourite of mine!

What's going on here? Two sets of photos uploaded in one day? I really do seem to have got some momentum going to catch up with these.
Daytime glam. No particular reason, just because. 😊

A taste of things to come for a while at least. With nowhere to go, and no visits from Gemma until April, my photos are mostly glam nights in.
I do like this blue lace dress.

🔶NOTE TO MY FRIENDS ON FLICKR. I APOLOGIZE FOR MY ABSENCE AND LACK OF PARTICIPATION AS OF LATE. I HAVE FOUND THAT INSTAGRAM IS A BETTER PLATFORM FOR ME. I HAVE JUST BEGUN DOING THESE SHORT VIDEO MONTAGES. I HOPE YOU ENJOY THEM. PLEASE DO NOT FEEL OBLIGATED TO FAVE OR COMMENT...I UNDERSTAND. WALT.🔶
08/31/20...As planned I made my little video montage of the Moon setting. I chose the song "Pretty Little Poison" because it fit...addiction...it is a constant darkness...as I watched that Moon set...I felt the millions of lives that have set over addiction...the end being blackness...death. So, though it is dark...I hope you enjoy it. Robbie Fulks...a very tall man...saw him 3 or 4 times at the Iota Club...great artist...has a distinct Country/Hillbilly voice...yet he was not on my playlist...out I went and found the Album I wanted to use...Let's Kill Saturday Night...going to use the song name as a lead in...until I heard Pretty Little Poison...I changed my mind...yes, another song about addiction. This Album is more rock then country. 🎵

Music by Robbie Fulks "Pretty Little Poison" from the album LET'S KILL SATURDAY NIGHT.
I wish Robbie well...I wish everyone well. Taken 08/30/2020.
At 3:00am Sunday morning I took the dogs out for a late pee break...that way I could sleep in. Through the trees I could see a brightness on the horizon...the Moon was getting ready to go to bed. I took the dogs back in...grabbed the camera and tripod...walked up the hill to my open field...it was a stunning night...cool...silent...dark...so I hung out for 30 minutes and was in another world..my world...in the tall grasses..alone with the moon. 🔶NOTE: DONE WITH THE SETTING MOON.🔶
There are magazines and news sources for the general public, and the same has always been true for the people who operate buses. The Museum of Transport Greater Manchester has an extensive archive collection and documents that is used as the source for this Flickr feed, and we have a very large collection of trade magazines and bulletins dating back to the nineteenth century.
These magazines have always been read by owners and managers of truck and bus companies, and therefore they have always included advertisements for complete vehicles, spare parts such as tyres, ancillary equipment such as washing equipment, and parts that one might specify as part of a vehicle order.
This advert dates from the early 1950s and advertises a hard-wearing material for seating. We will note without further comment that the material's brand name is better known today for a very different impermeable product!
