I went to Rome-EUR to test my new Horizon 202 (panoramic camera) in an intriguing place. This is one of my first panoramic shots ever... just an experiment... :)

Gemma was back for the weekend and this time we had arranged to meet a friend who was over visiting from New Zealand! Christopher and his partner Adam were on a 4 week holiday taking in New York, London, Holland, Eurovision semi-finals and Hull (LOL! Christopher is from Hull so has family back here).
We had such a great time seeing them and we got on the Star gallery too, :-)
Started off with a drink in Monroe's where we bumped int some other friends, then on to the Star to meet Christopher and Adam. A cracking night.

Elle dessert Tahiti depuis 2019
Son arrivée était plutôt une bonne nouvelle, car les voyages Tahiti Métropole coutent très chers !
MAIS ce que j'ai trouvé inadmissible, c'est que French Bee a tout simplement "abandonné" ses passagers dans les 2 sens Tahiti France et France Tahiti, alors que ces personnes avaient payé leurs billets !
Il est vrai que cette histoire de virus et l'interdiction par les Etats Unis de faire escale dans leur pays a causé beaucoup de problèmes, mais les compagnies ont cherché des solutions pour rapatrier les passagers vers leurs destinations, sauf French Bee !!
500 passagers (toutes compagnies confondues) sont restés bloqués à l'aéroport, 1 semaine pour certains, dans l'attente d'une solution, cela a du être un vrai cauchemar !
Hier soir 27 avril, il en restait une cinquantaine sans solutions !

A weekend in Derby to visit Gemma and go for a visit to Dovedale in the Peak District.
After a lovely morning at Dovedale, we went out in Derby with Ann on Saturday night.
We had a lovely time. We only took in The Crown and Bishop Blaise then back to The Crown where we bumped into a lovely group. We always seem to meet nice people!

Pequeño vídeo de una actividad que ya pocas veces se puede ver en directo.
Es muy corto porque no fué una cosa preparada, cuando lo ví, apenas tuve tiempo de situarme en un sitio donde se pudiera ver medianamente bien la maniobra. Corté pronto porque quería tomar alguna foto también.
Molino de viento harinero con velas latinas en la finca de Garraseca (en la Marina de Llucmajor) restaurado en 2010, por lo que fué el primer molino que pudo moler grano después de 70 años de inactividad.
El molino es de tipología de torre estrecha con plataforma maciza y obrador en la parte inferior. Tiene 6 aspas con aparejo de vela latina, que se orientan al viento mediante un palo guía (ésto último es lo que muestra éste vídeo).
