A crow frantically tried to ward off an attacking Red-winged Blackbird in the skies over Green Cay this morning.
Canon EOS 7D Mark II, EF400mm f/5.6L USM, f/8, 1/2500, ISO 1000.
This was my Dad's, SSG James E Foreman, Unit Crest/Coat of Arms for when he was with the "Big Red 1" VII Corp 1st Infantry Division, Company A of the 298th Combat Engineer Combat Battalion.
My Dad went in on Omaha Beach, later he fought in the Battle of the Bulge and in the Ardennes, plus he went in to relieve the 101st Airborne at Bastogne.

Two juvenile American Bald Eagles engaging in aerial combat over sticks the one Eagle is carrying. Fairly sizable crop on this one, but still lots of detail so I thought it worth while to post. I spent 3 days down Conowingo over the past 7 days and while their was action, much of it has been far off. That said, I do plan on making a few more visits before Eagle season ends in another month or so. View large for best combat experience! :D

While this may be fictional, I wanted to re-experiment with forced perspective methods as well as a new method of mine to make more textured walls (seen near the operator with the M249).
I know it's been quite a while since I posted, but I've been much busier than I anticipated this summer, and my basement just flooded, which is where all of my Lego bricks are kept. Disastrous.

The city wall of Gerwton is completed.
Now it's time to train the new recruits for the "Aurora Guard".
In order not to lose any time, they train even in snow and ice.
Captain Antilles is watching everything very carefully!

Naval and Infantry forces have been given new camouflage more reflective of their battlefield roles.
As a side note - serious shoutout to Callum over at United Bricks. First person to bring the US Naval uniform to life, and both samples of printing are fantastic and look like nature minifigure parts. Great!
