More than 100 Soldiers of the New Jersey Army National Guard participated in the United States’ largest annual U.S. Army security cooperation exercise in Europe May 24-June 11, 2025. Infantry Soldiers from 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, and across the 25th Infantry Division tested for their Expert Infantryman Badges this week, hosted by 2IBCT, 25ID, on Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
The purpose of the EIB is to recognize Infantrymen who have demonstrated a mastery of critical tasks. These tasks build on the foundation of individual proficiency, allowing them to locate, close with, and destroy the enemy.
These Infantrymen Skills are critical to the units Lethality and Readiness.
