Air France "by CityJet", this livery was adopted following the takeover of CityJet by the French national airline. You'll notice wording on the nose in a celtic font. This reflects the 'remains' of the Irish carrier's naming of aircraft after Irish landmarks and regions. Sadly this has not been carried through on the latest aircraft colourscheme.

A recently developed subdivision on the outskirts of Jimboomba, south-east Queensland. I think there is some American influence in the design.
Quite a bit of criticism has been levelled at recently built houses and apartment blocks with white and light-grey (or light greige) colour schemes, bemoaning the abandonment of the early 20th century fashion for varied, bright colours on Queensland house exteriors. But frankly, I much prefer to rest my eyes on these light, muted colours schemes.

HW-351 was one of the 5 Hawk T51A's used on this detachment; note the underwing fuel tanks are in the old camouflage colourscheme
Check out the modernist dark blue and bold red colour scheme, which we spent quite some time deciding upon. Check out also Tom's efforts to dress to blend in with said colour scheme.

The FGW 'local lines' livery was quite a choice colourscheme, and one that suited pretty much everything it was put on.

So, you take someone you love to Paris for a birthday surprise, and it's the very first time they've been... it's the law that you have to go to the Eiffel Tower, isn't it?
Difficult to take a photograph that hasn't been done a thousand times before, though. It's so overwhelming a monument, the only option seemed to be to try and break it down a bit, into its component parts. That, and the repulsive green & gold colourscheme (plus sparkly flashing lights) that it had unhappily been done out in...
Monkey was born from an egg on a mountain top.....Those tiny bits inside are coloured droplets of oil...
This is how I solved the problem of what to do with two balls of hideous uber-bright orange yarn!
