S455 KCW entered Interlink SY service with Holderness Bus in Hull in 2010, receiving the grey, silver and red livery then unique to the Hull, Grimsby and Lincoln depots. It retains this colourscheme making it something of a rarity in the Interlink SY fleet, and is based at Doncaster on Driver Training duties.

Using the break of the famous 'Fuel' throw up, Millenia style as it was called, was painted in Chelmsford circa January 87..and we all had our own variations/bites of it...only UKMA did it proper though....this colourscheme....dope as .....today.
I got around to processing the extra shots of the rocking Audi R8, and I am convinced the UV/IR filter makes a HUGE difference to the rendering of the M8s images

Like a ghostly blancmange.
I'm not sure who choose the pink with white detailing, but the colourscheme is [the author is struggling to think of a polite, yet suitably damning, word]. Works really well with the verdigris round the clock.
This is basically a typical small town scene, complete with period details. The 1990's conservation-aware lamppost. The 1990's mock gaslamp commemorating something forgettable. The twin burglar alarms flanking the alley. The authentic legal-minimum boiler flue protruding gnomonically on the right. The far-off sign on the DIY shop which older than everything I just mentioned.
Simply rest your eyes on the gentle synergy between the two shades of this evocative livery and how even the harsh makers name is subservient to the manifest needs of this old buses colourscheme.
Nice isnt it!

First of all, many thanks to those of you who took the time to give me some feedback on the design. It's much appreciated and been very helpful.
Step 2 has moved the colour scheme along, settled on a font stack and started to kick the tyres a bit, to see if the design concept stands up to the various bits and pieces that I want (or might conceivably want at some point the future) to be on the home page.
On the subject of the colour scheme - this has probably been the most difficult aspect of this process for me. I chickened out of having an actual colour scheme (monochrome doesn't count) for a long time, because I was too chicken to try and find something that would or could be colourful and bring visual interest to a page of text, but also be able to cope with whatever images I wanted to put up, without clashing horribly. I also wanted to explore colour a bit more and try something a bit more daring than I'd usually go for.
In retrospect, the original colourscheme, viewed in the cold light of day (as opposed to the wee small hours, where odd things happen to your perception) didn't quite hit the right note. This one feels better, and (for the moment at least) achieves what I wanted, which was something that was fresh (but slightly warm), bright (without being too offensive), purple (but not too LOUD about it) and it's complement across the other side of the colour wheel green (but not too hospital or public lav).
Whew.
So anyway. What say ye?
