Yesterday was another perfect day to be on Monte Sano Mountain shooting. After a couple of days or rain, the creeks were flowing and the mountain was shrouded in fog.....just how I like it.

Once again I was digging out my Christmas Card shot and came across one that I like. Taken on the same day, this is a great spot that tourists pull over and get an up close and personal view of our Mountain. Not on this day however, I was struck by the harshness of the scene in the place that I love, raw and forbidding. I love a challenge. :-)

Sunrise on a very cold -32 morning with wind chills in the - 50 the fields where flowing with blowing snow and cold fog was out looking for snowy owls but think they where sheltering from this bitter cold morning

There is not much snow this year in the winter but somehow for me the winter looks still a little more photogenic than warmer seasons
