Evenings on the shores of Lake Titicaca can be very cold and windy. A small campfire is very useful to warm you up a little!
The stone faces of Otagi Nenbutsu - Ji look even more peaceful in the cold rain . I had to cut the visit short today because of the weather , but I am coming back tomorrow for a clearer look at these unique statues .
I need to cool down as I'm not a great fan of hot weather. This shot of Cwm Idwal earlier in the year looks suitably refreshing and reflective to me. Cold Cold Ground by Tom Waits is fairly obvious. Today will be another hot day showing people High Brown Fritillaries.
A very cold HSS everyone!!
(I was trying to create the feeling that it was so cold that even the camera lens was freezing over)
March 12, 2018 was a very cold night. I prepared few boxes with baby blankets for the abandoned cats. In the middle of the night, I went outside to see which cat entered in the bax, and I saw the mother with three baby opossums. All the little ones were looking at me, but when I took the camera to photograph them, just one baby had his head up. It would have been an exceptional shot if I could have captured that scene.
