Delicious Breaded Cod dinner from Red Lobster in Joliet Illinois

Sunset on North Truro beach. Cape Cod

Taken through the big picture window from the house. untouched, and un-everything

the way it came out...

Kayak fishing is my life , oh no , kayak fishing is my hobby . I am not privileged as such . I have got a passion . This year has been fantastic in every aspect . I set my goals as early as the first of January . Catching 25 species from the kayak in Scotland . This week we tackled the east . We teamed up well considering we are out to sea .

Species 25 came along nicely . Ding a ling as we say , the serpent looking cod . Half a mile out from the launch we have one thing in mind is to stay put on that kayak . The wind and tide are gathering pace , from time to time I check out on my friends Ian and Marcos .And they do the same with me .

This is multitasking , today’s fishing is not easy , the drift is fast .

The team is getting good , I feel safe out to sea .

I forgot to say , species 26 is now onboard too . A ( maossive ) scorpion fish . I did not know those fish could grow that size . We stay 6 good hours on the lumpy sea and say no to the last drift . We understand the risk and know our limits . This year has been so interesting in every aspect , we have learned so much as a team . No one knows where our next trip will be , that’s Scotland with the unpredictable weather . And we still have so much to learn , every day is a school day . Enjoy the images .

I know people say that Door County is like the Cape Cod of the Midwest, but I still don't think that's why this motel in Egg Harbor is called the Cape Cod Motel.

The hard clam or quahog, Mercenaria mercenaria is a bivalve mollusc native to the eastern shores of North America, from Prince Edward Island to the Yucatán Peninsula. Older sources may give it the systematic name Venus mercenaria. It is one of many unrelated bivalves referred to as clams.

Winter Beach Play on The Cape Cod National Seashore.

A couple of minutes before sun down. 3 exposure (-2, 0, +2) HDR. Phinney's Harbor Cape Cod MA.

We saw this house while driving along Cape Cod in August 1981.

It was a very attractive house.

We were fortunate to see a fishing boat unloading cod while we were on the dock in Þórshöfn, on the northeast coast of Iceland.

Sandwich, Massachusetts

There was nothing going on in the sky on this windy and chilly Sunday afternoon, but I was in the area and wanted to scope out this spot and play with the D750. Better compositions could be had but the sun was fading, my hands were going numb, and I was afraid of dropping things in the sand and/or water.

On the jetty and area (paraphrased from Wikipedia): This 3,000 foot (910 m) stone jetty separates the eastern end of the Cape Cod Canal from Scusset Beach. The Cape Cod Canal is an artificial waterway in the state of Massachusetts connecting Cape Cod Bay in the north to Buzzards Bay in the south. Part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, the approximately 7 mile (11 km) long canal separates Cape Cod from the state's mainland.

Filters: Singh-Ray LB ColorCombo + LEE 2-stop hard-edge GND

Exposure notes: The sun was almost directly behind me but the ColorCombo still provided some nice contrast. I metered off of the sand; the 2-stop GND provided just the right amount of balance for the bright sky. To preserve some of the turbulence in the ocean, I boosted the ISO to knock down the exposure time.

The Dr Dolittle of fish....the Cod Father. I can't help they follow me, not my fault.

Designed and folded by me.

My streak of fish origami models continue. Despite the references of the model being easy to figure out, this one is fairly lengthy in terms of precreasing, which is unusual for most of my models.

I don't know why but when I take pictures, the subject always ends up looking rather chubby. But at least it's somewhat recognizable.

Zelfs bovenop het duin en de boulevard werd mijn gezicht gezandstraald. Durfde met mijn camera dus het strand niet op.

Dit is de foto, en daar zal je het mee moeten doen.
