On this particular morning my pup and I got up very early to hike to top of hills just in case there was a nice sunrise, we weren't disappointed as for a good 30 minutes we were treated to a variety of shades and textures of morning clouds and color.
Did one of my 'crazy landscape photographer' trips to Folly Beach yesterday morning with my photography buddy Amy. After a 2:45am departure, we arrived to a downpour and wondering if we would have any chance at a photo. But, after about 30 minutes, the rain stopped and we were able to get out and get out of the car and shoot. I don't think it turned out too bad at all, don't you think?

The sun is slowly sliding toward the horizon as we head down the hillside back to the car after a wonderful day snowshoeing. We made it back to the car just before darkness.
