Some nice reflections from a rather subdued sunset along the backwaters of the Mississippi River in La Crosse County, Wisconsin.
Kitty Hawk Pier on the North Carolina Outer Banks.
It's been a while since I've posted a photo. Just been working too much. Gotta slow down and spend more time with a camera in my hand. ;-)

A view across Morecambe Bay from the beach by the Roa Island coast road. Low sun and grey skies and the tide racing in.
Eastern shore of Lake Coeur d'Alene. A rapidly moving storm came across the lake as we travelled down Route 97 (which is a very scenic drive). This house and the sloping backdrop caught our eyes!
Stationary cloud over the Eastern Sierra California made for an interesting sunset. Figures a jet contrails would interfere with the shot. Mt Tom to the left.
I took a quick trip to the South Carolina coast a few days ago. While the forecast was a little iffy, I had great color for both the sunset and sunrise I was around to shoot.
I'm lucky to live a few short hours from the coast. But there's days I wish I was a bit closer. ;-)

I never get tired of watching a sunset. Blanchetown is about 130 km northeast of Adelaide, south Australia. iPhone 7 Plus, using Natural HDR Preset on ProCamera app then refined in Snapseed app.
Now this is a real sun. Decided to go and catch the sun rising on the longest day of the year. Chose a place that had the sun in the entrance to the Grand Harbour. We only forgot to take some hot chocolate and biscuits.

This was an amazing summer storm and sunset. I'll upload the original with exif data and you'll see that I hardly touched the raw file.
.....the nor'west sky back in January (my summer) brought temperatures of 32C and gusty wind. People were having fun on the beach, in the sea and on the pier fishing or ambling like us.
