Parecido a otras fotos mías. El sol a traves de un árbol para no tener reflejos y además unas bonitas sombras.

Es el amanecer del dia 1 de enero de 2019

A stunning spring sunset.

It is probably obvious that the thing that persuaded me out last night was the dramatic, cloudy sky.

This farm belonged to a long-time friend who unfortunately for me passed away a few months ago. His children have given me permission to photograph this old red barn that his grandad built, and as I walked back I could imagine the many times he returned from the fields after a long, cold autumn day of harvesting. And in fact, in his later years, I would sometimes pick him up and drive out on this very field lane to watch the combine traveling through the fields.

Winter sunset scene near West Millgrove, Ohio. Six exposure HDR image with one set exposing for the sky and another set exposing for the snow and road.

Just another beautiful sunset.

Another view from the A487

This old road, seldom used and not maintained, caught my attention as the sun was setting. I suppose I was overstating the scene a little with the title. The "river" was a small creek, and the "woods" were a few trees along the creek bank. But that old song came to my mind as I stood out in the cool evening.

A Mammatus Cloud - Full View, En Entier. End of the day.

Sunrises along the Blue Ridge Parkway can be pretty spectacular. The combination of fog in the valleys and clouds above can make for some unforgettable combinations. On this morning I headed to one of the overlooks that give great easterly views not far out of Blowing Rock. Not hard to get to, but a pretty nice payoff in terms of the view.

Happy Wing Wednesday!

It was an evening where every direction had an amazing and dramatic sky setting up. Evening shadows were formed and lighting was just about right.

An "eye candy" view from a rest arera off I-26 near Ashville, North Carolina.

These rocks get covered and reappear month by month. About a week later after I took this I went down and they were totally covered by the sand. It just depends on the weather mostly.

I want to thank each and everyone who has taken their time to view, fave or comment on my photo. I truly appreciate it.

Finally able to get a few lightning shots this year. The storm kind of snuck up on us but we managed to avoid the rain and didn't get struck by lightning. Seemed like just as we would set up, the storm was over us.

A view across the firth of Clyde on the west coast of Scotland looking across to Arran where Goatfell is shrouded in spring blustery clouds and rain. The light was ever changing and I only wish I had time to stay around and watch it all evening until dusk. But all I could manage was a 5min stop at Portencross car Park. The slow moving tanker was convenient in showing the size of the weather above it.

Highest point in Kansas at 4039 feet (1231m). Not really a "mount", more like a gentle rise to the top. mapper.acme.com/?ll=39.02264,-102.03699&z=15&t=T&...

This view looks west into Colorado, which is only 0.5miles (0.8km) away.

Sunset Aug 29 2014. Alviso ! I am glad this was very special day for me and Nature in blessed her style:)

Sunrise continued to show its glory from east to west.

Melbourne has been hit by an arctic blast over the past few days. My suburb received flurries of snow, an extremely rare event given our low elevation- producing excitement all round.

It was and interesting introduction into Stage 4 restrictions. Right now, everything feels so surreal which is why I chose this image for today's upload. I can look into it and dream of freedom, summer and good times which will come to us all once again.

As seen from Embleton bay CL.

If you don't like the weather in Lewis, wait five minutes. The three shots in this sequence were taken from the cliffs at Mangersta within the space of five minutes last Wednesday. Gale force winds, stinging hail showers, followed by clearing skies, and the Belt of Venus at sunset.

We stuck it out, despite being almost blown off out feet. As ever, my trusty Uniloc Tripod didn't let me down. Once that beast is speared into the ground, it's not going to shift for anything less than a tornado . We eventually made our way back from the cliffs, across the moor , breathless and laughing at the sheer adrenaline rush experienced out in the elements

This was the scene behind me as I was on my way home a few days ago. Just had to stop and get this!
