On this particular dogwalking route we always pass this apple orchard. And there are 2 trees that are still surrounded by all the apples - as if creatures do not like them. I wonder why? A mystery.
I mixed all the paints directly on the paper. I wanted to get that wet into wet look and also have the high contrast. I have spent a lot of time learning color, but I feel a desire to spend more time with technique, especially wet into wet. I can see that technique and brushwork are like handwriting, making it a personal "note".
El arte de una foto macro o closeup para nombrar a las que tiene un foco muy cercano es dificil, al menos para mÃ. Sin trÃpode aun más. comenzamos a jugar a ver que sale :)

For those that are interested my eye makeup is MAC black eyeliner applied to inner lids and smudged below to give that smoky look, eye shadow is Clinique with Sex and the City Carrie false lashes and black MAC mascara. Outer face makeup is MAC Tech in my shade with a light dusting of MAC fix powder. Lipstick is Dior Rouge 551 Rose Occotte. Eyebrow pencil is a brown No 7 from Boots, with a pink Dior blush. My perfume that night was Calvin Klein Obsession. What me obsessed? just a bit.
Something a little different for me this week - I've been really busy with work lately, and not much time for photography. I basically get home after dark, and too tired to set up a shoot.
I recently bought a new phone, that has a pretty nice camera on it. I thought I'd test it out at work after lunch one day. It's spring, and there are little clover flowers in the grass everywhere. I decided to see how it would go with a close up shot. I'm pretty happy with the result! I won't be trading in my macro lens any time soon, but the phone works well at a pinch.
I'm hoping to have a bit more free time in the coming weeks so that I can do a bit more photography. But for now, a snapshot from my phone will do.
Happy Macro Monday Flickr!
