Finally, a close-up look at the Sears exterior signage: 1990s logo and inevitable store closing banner. This store originally opened in the 1950s (I believe) with the script Sears logo; I really love the architecture. Unfortunately, most Memphians could care less, and are much more excited to see this Sears torn down and replaced by a Nordstrom Rack past its closure next month...

Going over to the store in Hillsboro to shop this morning, I stopped at the Community garden and took a few shots of the flowers they are growing.. I had to shoot thru the fence because there was no one there at the time to let me in...

The coots come together in large clans that look like a rock in the lake. This clan was close to 500 birds based on this picture.
