A close up look of a night heron resting in a central park in the middle of Taipei city. There was a small pond with 20 at least. Some were trying to hide but other didn’t care at all as they felt super confident resting there.
For me it was super interesting as I could do a close up photo of them. In a normal environment in the wild that would have been impossible.
An ant on an orange hibiscus flower, in my neighbour's garden, a close up.

here you can see the house for the birds better. You can close it and then there is simply a tree with a matchbox on it
We found a pride of lion just north of Grootkolk. They are roaring, playing and fighting short after sunrise.

Cream hibiscus, close up showing sepal detail.
This particular hibiscus, from a regular morning walk, has been difficult to get a picture of that really shows the creamy colour, so I was very happy when I saw how reasonable these pictures were (now I can throw out all my previous not-very-good tries).
