Close-up of a nesting Killder. The bright orange eye-ring and the rufous rump covered with milk chocolate coverts show the beauty of this bird.

Cream hibiscus, close up showing sepal detail.

This particular hibiscus, from a regular morning walk, has been difficult to get a picture of that really shows the creamy colour, so I was very happy when I saw how reasonable these pictures were (now I can throw out all my previous not-very-good tries).

Great Cormorant

I wonder why they're so beautiful. They're just living according to the laws of nature.

It's as if they're saying, "Being a human is tough, hahaha."

Taken at a photo walk in Aarhus

Walking home I found these flowers and knew that I had to take this photo. I did not have my camera so I set it up on my table. I hope you enjoy

This close-up photograph showcases an adult stink bug, identifiable by its shield-shaped body and mottled brown coloration that serves as camouflage among the bark and leaves of its habitat. Notorious for the pungent scent it releases when threatened, this stink bug is a part of the Hemiptera order, often found on various plants where it uses its piercing mouthparts to feed on sap. This image captures its survival adaptations, from the tough exoskeleton to the fine hairs on its limbs that detect vibrations, illustrating the complexity of this common garden visitor.

Had to try again, glad I did! The eye shadow is wicked!! I was unsure about the make up and long lashes, but it works!

Bit about me, I'm a 14 year old photographer, I love photographing wildlife, landscapes, pets, urban scenes, and other things that really interest me!

A close up picture of my cat, Lily.

Papyrus flower: close up.

I saw a picture recently of a plant that was described as papyrus, and this looks very similar so that's what I am going to call it. It is definitely some sort of reed, and has these interesting flowers along the reed (rather than at the pointy end). If I find out that it's something else I will come back and revise this text.
