A picture from last summer I almost forgot about....

Does it even live there?

I've nicknamed the 2x2 girder drawer 'bay twelve'.

Just some fun with some Photoshop actions... ;-)

She is quite a veteran in my collection, She was developed as a cargo centric vehicle

Features:

- Stovl spacecraft.

- Openable cockpit

- Quite big container, even can carry smaller Classic Space sets.

classic space LL-926

An overview of my 2019 MOCs, MODs, and participation to collaborative layouts.

He can be a bit clumsy at times but he is very strong and already made many places accessible for everyone on mars.

Who can wait all the way to february before starting on some febrovery? ;)

I have created a nimble reconnaissance space craft based on the Lego Classic Space colorscheme. The model comprises of less than 300 bricks in its current form. This third generation MOC is an asymmetrical build which incorporates a part selection stretching multiple decades. The aim was to create a relatively small set with a modern yet friendly appearance based upon epic heritage. The craft is designed for reconnaissance work but is suffienciently equipped to defend itself if deemed required. It features next level equipment to scan its surroundings. Propulsion is achieved through an anti-matter reactor coupled to a warp drive. Ufonium element 115 is stored in the double armoured fuel tank. The ship contains 2 anti-anti-matter seeking missiles and 4 miniature rocket boosters which remotely attach to medium sized asteroids posing a threat to any minifigure astronaut wandering through the voids of imagination. ;-)

This is the second rover in the series and first to have RC controls and thanks to the SBrick, it is controllable from phone.

A neo-Classic Space mining dropship. The LL-747 has multiple pod-style cargo holds to transport minerals from mining camps to more centrally located mineral processing centers. The ship also contains a small lab on the main deck to assist in small research experiments in the outlying settlements.

LEGO Ideas contest entry: ideas.lego.com/challenges/2d3f47a4-66c9-4f41-92ee-87ccc9f...

My submission to an official LEGO contest to showcase music, futurism, and celebrations – thus, this creation encompasses all three. The Moon Rocks are a far-out cosmic rock band with a hypersonic sound totally out of this world!

This is based off a concept I tinkered with in 2015-2016 which featured a fictional LEGO rock band comprised of astronauts, known as The Highway Stars. Only unlike my previous build which depicted the spaceman band traveling in a flying rocket convertible car, this particular new concept features the band performing on a lunar base.

The ground begins with dark grey bricks to give the rocky appearance, which then has a simple structure of light grey to mimic the look of a space station, and uses numerous pipes and tubes for design effect. On the stage you can see the five members, each wearing outfits reminiscent of classic Space minifigures. The audience is a mix of various spacemen from different eras – including M-Tron, Blacktron, Space Police, Uitron, and even a bunch of Mars Mission green aliens. I started working on this in March 2022 and quickly finished the whole project by the beginning of April.

The stage was originally intended to be designed to resemble a giant boombox with cassette player, but instead I utilized the back wall to have a huge JumboTron screen! There weren't many engineering obstacles since the actual base is rather straightforward, but instead the major challenges were obtaining enough 1x1 plates of the proper colors to make the mosaics. The planet earth mosaic was difficult to map out in Photoshop due to my limitations with blue pieces, and I had to use pinks and lavenders instead.

This powerful research vehicle is designed to extract virtual core samples to a depth of 5000m. When required, it can support a crew of three for several days at a time.

Jenny keeps popping wheelies. She's a spaceship pilot and wants to take off to the stars instead of rolling around on the ground.

Spot the differences...

So this is my final rebuild of the LL 924 transport spaceship. It is just to get a feel for these ships, and I will break it up soon enough to start on a Classic Space based fantasy.

I did not start with a set, but with some bricks that might have been Classic Space. So I ordered a bunch of other bricks of Bricklink that seemed appropriate, started to build, discovered I was still missing a lot. I looked how far I could get (top-picture), and bought some more bits and pieces. The bottom pic is where I stand now.

I learned some things about the general designs in these things. Repetition seriously helps to make a design look more 'industrial'. And the small white elements like lettering and the arrow down brings a lot of life into the ship.

In trying other stuff, like little rovers and such, I learned that grey on grey tends to get dark en murky real quick (a problem I noticed with castle builds I saw online as well).

So first conclusions: try to work in some white details in builds (I am not going to invest in LL9-something bricks, I plan on building other stuff, perhaps I should buy a sheet of white sticker-letters).

As for the rovers and small vehicles: I should try to insert some other colours as well, perhaps more yellow as a signal colour, or blue and trans-yellow in line with the spaceships.

I've heard tell that some 80s kids used set 6824 as a substitute for an X-wing when playing Star Wars with their Lego. This is a modern version of set 6824 with X-wings and a backseat robot head.

I'm not entirely settled on the design of this one, and might change a few bits around.

A Technic frame with suspension, working steering, 4 wheel drive, double V8 engine, and working flatbed to carry spaceship.

Classic Space grey greebly covering with large cab with big yellow windscreen.

I started a series back in 2018, called Flipover Series. It consist of 3 flipover rovers which have 2 different completely usable sides. The 3 rovers commemorate 6 eras of the old space themes.

This is the first one in the Classic Space / Futuron theme. It's the smallest one. It has the old lego light system.

On the Classic Space side you can access the battery. and can pack cargo on the back, and it's got lights for visibility.

On the Futuron side you have seats for 6 minifigs, 3 cannons and a small compartment for tools.

The cockpit can be rotated with a knob on the back.

Also the rover has 4 wheel steering with a knob in the back for steering. as well.

An old Blacktron ship piloted by ruthless mercenaries. Any resemblance to a certain ship from a new hit TV series is " purely coincidental "...

It's on Lego Ideas, if you have time and wanna help me, you can support me there

Lunar Light SPACE BASE

It's only a matter of time before he kills them all.

Leaps acrobatically over boulders and from crater to crater.

The "Arrowhead" ship from "The Freemaker Adventures" (kit 75186) reminds me of a Galaxy Explorer, so I built a 918 to go with it. Like conventional 918s, it has a small cargo space behind the seat. I'd like to build a 924 and a 926 base to go with the Arrowhead, too.

You can check all the details for this alternate build at:

ABOUT:

The "Mining Outpost" consists of a habitat, an industrial zone with docking station, a vehicle repair bay (or space garage) with moving ramp and working lifting platform, the Legonit Search Vehicle and a drilling rig with docking station and container.

Furthermore the Blacktron Dropship could be included as an antagonist. Please support this project at LegoIdeas to make a classical space theme come true! Thx.
