For our Space Police Team-Up Contest at @roguebricks.de I joined forces with @wochenender and did this Space Police troop carrier on a mission against his Blacktron thugs.

When I started my series of recolored sets, I thought I would keep them assembled, next to my "normal" collection.
Finally I decided to take them apart...
I must be going a bit crazy, because of my never ending depression, but I want to finish my space set collection (because I started it, I have to finish it !?) and at the same time, I sometimes have violent desires to sell every last brick...
This mass of objects is sometimes just suffocating, as if it was parasiting my whole life. I still love Lego, but it's getting a bit complicated to manage... I miss the time when I was content with my MOCs - easy to take apart once immortalized ^^
Well, it's probably just a bad phase, I hope ^^ Sorry for these ruminations...
I’m happy to announce a new sub-mini-series of Benny and Mr. Robot.
Yesterday I woke up with that title in mind and I couldn’t help to throw together this "poster"…
I can’t say anything about the title, because it would be a big spoiler. But you’ll understand everything very soon (the third photo of the series will be very self-explanatory). The story was born from a little MOC I am still building and that I’ll unveil in the last photo. But maybe there’ll be two or three photos after that. I still have to fix something in the storyboard, but I can tell that I am putting together 15-20 photos. With some new characters. I’ll tell more only in the end.
I can’t guarantee to post regularly, but I’ll do my best. Hope you’ll enjoy.
Single-wheel rovers are awesome, but I think this is the first time I've pulled it off without the "cheat" of supporting the vehicle elsewhere as well.
Only my fifth rover this FebRovery. I need to step it up.

An exercice I love to do from time to time : make a ship only with vintage parts, in the true style of 80s Space sets.
I think this one is my favorite in this style so far, it has many references (more or less subtle ^^) to many ships from the 80s (sets 6890, 6929, and many other) and it was a real pleasure to build.
Hope you'll like it ;-)

Have a nice day!
My last rover for Febrovery 2015 goes back towards the 886 but in a SNOT style. I've had great fun coming up with lots of weird and wonderful vehicles, been in awe for Crimso & Frost's prodigious output, enjoyed wonderful rover rovers from the like of Billyburg, Tyler, Piratecox and Halfbeak to name but a few. Plus I've discovered new builders to follow.
My highlight had to be when Frost took a microscale vehicle I made and turned it into a large, minifig scaled machine in less than 24 hours. Just brilliant! Go and have a look!
Thank you to everyone for all of their comments and likes, especially the comments that have inspired me to build more rovers. Febrovery is fun because, to paraphrase that excellent rover builder David Alexander Smith, we build best when we build together.
Thank you Crimso, for starting it all!

This 928-class starship carries a crew of four scientists, two flight engineers, and one pilot in its missions cataloging gaseous anomalies and interstellar shockwaves. A small compartment in the center of the ship has hatches to the front cabin, rear cabin, and cargo area, allowing any of the three cabins to be accessed independently without exposing the others to vacuum. A small airlock opens onto the rear cabin and the tail of the ship for spacewalks. Unfortunately, the crew stations, floors, and bulkheads installed for the scientific role occupy most of the cargo volume, which would otherwise be enormous. This means that the storm chasers can only carry a miniaturized rover instead of a standard exploration rover. Such a small vehicle would not be very useful if they were to become shipwrecked on a deserted island world. ... But does it come in black?
I may revisit this build sometime, because I'm not satisfied with the wing attachments. They're very smooth and they look great, but they wouldn't be able to maintain the 30-degree angle if the ship was turned upside-down.

This was the first model I ever attempted in Studio. The goal here is to do a very clean, sleek update to the Galaxy Explorer that's as close as possible to the original set, unlike many other Galaxy Explorer remakes that take the basic outline as a platform for complex SNOT techniques or greebling. However, I did make a few changes. I wanted the crew to be able to access the cargo in flight, so instead of a solid wall in the middle the crew cabin and the cargo bay are only separated by flags. The crew cabin is fully furnished with controls and two space seats, instead of being blank and empty. Due to limitations of the modern parts palette, the roof is blue instead of trans yellow. There is three point retractable landing gear. The doors in the aft fuselage are now large enough for minifigures to use them to access the cargo bay. The cargo bay is no longer tall enough to fit a rover with somebody sitting at the wheel, but it is otherwise much larger and more useful. It has 2 separate 6x6 cargo areas, letting it carry 2 small rovers, or a rover and a trailer (facing forward or facing backward), or 4 large crates and 6 small crates. Finally, I moved the fuselage-mounted engines lower so that the ship can now balance on them if you stand it on its end. That makes it what I call a well-balanced spaceship, like the 924 and the 918.
Double feature of 1997’s small droid ships, the V-Wing and Cyber Blaster enter the LEGO City!
These tiny old sets were heavy on cool intricate prints. All about the minifigs here, but the V-Wing has some really fun classic space elements and shaping!
‘97 picks up with leg printing, which hadn’t been seen in a space theme since ‘94s Spyrius droid, Major Kartofski. And we’ll see leg prints on their human counterparts next time I look at RoboForce.
Happy to have both the Techdroids from this theme back in my collection, which Techdroid do you like better- red or blue?

Febrovery 2021
The newest astro personnel carrier (APC), to safely transport all astronauts through hazardous places.
A spaceship spacEsHiP SPACESHIP! built as a companion to the Horizon Chariot Febrovery build.
Built around a NinjaGo arcade pod, it features folding wings and seats two minifigures.
Lunar pick-up truck. Play features include opening cockpit, 360 degree swiveling crane arm, retractable ladder and deployable cargo arm. This would be fun to play with if the chassis wasn't so delicate!
Mark Wright has been full of mojo lately building huge fleets of Futuron style craft from age-specific parts. One of them, the CS Utility Shuttle really caught my eye with its combo of cool engines and ATV body.
I couldn't resist having a go at a redux build with more modern parts (and a custom screen) and with his permission here's the result.
Thanks Mark!
Simon asked me to build some CS for what I would later learn was his moonbase. This is the fighter I came up with. I took a page out of 4est's book and rebuilt one of my older MOCs in CS minifigure scale. Only spent about 4 hours on this.

1990’s Cosmicopter (Particle Ioniser) looking amazing after all these years
This is about as far back as I go with my nostalgia for Classic Space theme. Very strange and fun space helicopter!
Great angles and use of storage space for a medium sized ship. Neon elements practically glow in the sun!
The droid build up is classic, funny recently building The City of Lanterns (#80036) and seeing the similar build in the Citybots

The spacemen of Classic Space asked Llwyngwril Systems to design a two-seat, all terrain vehicle. The design team immediately ran off with the research budget and blew it all on chocolate Hobnobs, Yorkshire Gold, some milk and new kettle. Two years later and the Big Foot emerged. It has since been speculated that the plans for the vehicle were drawn in haste on the inside of a old biscuit wrapper.
Despite its inauspicious beginnings, the Big Foot proved to be a fun mode of transport. It was especially popular for flolloping and volluing across the swamps of Sqornshellous Zeta. Our archive images show spacemen traversing a particularly muddy puddle.
I haven't had much time this month, but when I can get to building, I'll be working on some Christmas-inspired Classic Space builds. Here's a taste of what I've come up with so far.
When the troops need support on the front line, the LA53r Artillery Battery can deliver. With it's 40 pound plasma energy charge, capable of a 250 mile range, it's more than capable of vaporizing the strongest enemy troops.
The new torso looks meh (I prefer my original version: www.flickr.com/photos/hellvetica/15044539441/) but I finally built a working and semi-decent cockpit!
New photos of an old MOC.
Inspired but the 8 main parts that make up the hull.
This was never one of my favorites, as I didn't manage to work any functionality into the build. I do like the way it looks though.
LEGO #6956 M:Tron Stellar Recon Voyager or
Rescue Star Cruiser, from 1990
New video up on YT: youtu.be/oUNsrVnlAKs
Not sure who designed this, but a good chance Jørn Thomsen was involved
Great M:Tron prints. Strange fence lattice elements. Cool ribbed convex corner panel
And loads of space bits and trans neon green

My second entry for JerryBuildsBricks‘s #jbbclassicremake challenge!
This time I’m back to space with the revamp of the classic 6950 - Mobile Rocket Transport set. I kept all the functions, the rear section is steered by a knob at the end, the cabin can hold 3 figs, there are 2 ladders on the sides which can be lowered and of course you can launch the big rocket at any time 😉 And You can still go offroad with it
