At this time of the year Red always got this urge of growing a big white beard. It was the snow, he said, but the others knew, it was the ho-ho-holiday season. Red was always the enthusiastic one.
Happy holidays!
Technic functional goodness!
Even though I grew up with LEGO Technic before my semi-dark ages, my skills in it are still rusty. I struggled for weeks trying to make the 4-wheel drive, pendular suspension, steering, double V8 engine, and working flatbed.
When the troops need support on the front line the LA53r Artillery Battery can deliver. With it's 40 pound plasma energy charge capable of a 250 mile range it's more than capable of vaporizing the strongest enemy troops.

Mr. Chapman was very proud of his brand new rover.
"Light is right" he repeated to all the astronauts around.
He presented his work to the committee in charge of the homologation of the prototypes. He felt confident and optimistic.
Unfortunately, no one ever heard from him again after the crash test... which had pitted his rover against the Mega Core Magnetizer ^^
Schematics of the Conquistador-class Star Destroyer Erradikor 7.
This ship is inspired by the Sillage comics (see tome 17) from Jean-David Morvan and Philippe Buchet.

This guy was a difficult build, I wanted to keep the Mite in one piece so I can use them both in an upcoming diorama. Most of my nicer slopes were used in that creation so this build was a real challenge in utilising my collection.

Another recolored set - but it's a bit more original than the previous...
Take the Town set 6648 , released in 1980, paint it in the color from the Space set from the same year, and here's what you get ^^
I've made some small changes to the build, because of the driver's airtank, but it stay 95 % true to the original Town set (which is totally charming ^^)

Here is a baby replica of the latest iteration of the LEGO Galaxy Explorer set 10497. It still has the main play features of the original set just down sized. Pop off canopy, steering wheels, opening rear end with boarding ramp, airlock sliding door and last but not least ride on booster engines!
This was a blast to build. And was inspired by the builds @troublesbricking made while I was travelling Europe. While on holiday I managed to track down this squad of space babies so that when I got as soon as I got back from holiday I could get into building this moc.
Benny has done it again, now he has a "Rumbler, Rumbler, RUMBLER!"! AND he has got a big, bigger, biggest jet engine! Yup, its his version of a tumbler by you know who!

Classic Space Adventure is a free fanmade webgame I have created in Javascript, that is inspired by the Classic Space theme by LEGO®. You play in your web browser (Chrome or Firefox) using your keyboard (no download needed).
In this photo I show how the game looked like at the start of the development in 2016 compared to today, 2018. At first I just used very simple graphics for some of the objects (like the ones with a cross) before creating the real art. The resolution was also lower with fewer colors.
The game itself you can play here, or check out the webpage for the game here.
There is also a Facebook page for this game that you can follow and read more about the game.
Feel free to ask if you have any questions about the game!

Starfleet Voyager, in the style of the new Galaxy Explorer set! As soon as I saw the set reveal, I had the sudden urge to do this. The technique Lego uses for the wings is very interesting, I'll definitely be using it more in the future for other builds!
